Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!

Pretty sure 'Soul Saber' in the Japanese translation should be 'Soul Savior'. Seiba can be either Saber or Savior, and by context Soul Savior makes the most sense. Nerem (talk) 19:18, 24 February 2021 (UTC)Nerem

I'm actually questioning that myself after you bring that up, セイバー can indeed be Savior/Saver. Soul Saber in the context for the enemy kind of makes no sense now that I think about it, Soul Saver is probably indeed the intended name in the Japanese version. While Ted Woosley may have some issues caused by text limitations, he wasn't uneducated in understanding/translating the language. The same also goes for Tom Slattery. So the yeah, I'll remove the Soul Sabre/Saber name in the literal translation, unless the Japanese sources have the name "Soul Saber" in the English texts in the enemy section. Seems to be a remnant of an older user translations from 10 years ago, probably the same person who put Máel Dúin for Maduin. :P Miphares (talk) 20:00, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
