I'm not sure whether I agree with everything within this article concerning the ending of the game. It states that Vanille 'is ready to give in and become Ragnarok', but I don't think that this is the case, for she states that she'd 'rather fight and lose than give up without even trying.' This is a statement of defiance, not one of submission. I haven't editted anything as I couldn't be sure but rewatching the cutscene, that's what it suggests to me.
