Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!
This talk page is used for discussing improvements to the page "Potion (energy drink)". It is not the place for general discussion or sharing stories about the topic of this article.

Ah, but there are Phoenix Downs, too. --Crazyswordsman 06:16, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

lol, yeah, but this energy drink is specifically created and has the Final Fantasy logo on it, as silly( and completely awesome that I totally want it) as it is. --TacticAngel 06:22, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Rumor has it that they were a complete flop, because they tasted aweful. Saw a "segment" of someone doing a taste-test on random people, and while they like the idea, they couldn't stand the drink. Probably why they added the "card collection" thing, so that people had a reason for buying it. --Hecko X 07:01, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I'd have drank it no matter how disgusting it was. The collector's bottle was lovely to behold! --TacticAngel 08:48, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I regret not getting one while I could. I'd have drank the contents, then filled it up with something better. It must be fun going up to your friends and say "I need a pick-me-up" only to produce a potion phial. Diablocon 10:54, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I found the video by GameSpot. You gotta love the guy that says it tastes like turtle :P I like the re-use-with-other-drinks idea, but they kind of screwed that up too by making the bottle freakishly small. To swigs and the contents are gone (maybe a market strategy, since noone would force themselves to a third swig of the original content). Found the Japanese commercial for it too. --Hecko X 12:07, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
I probably would have just dumped out the Potion and filled it with tequila. Still, those Phoenix Downs seem to be great. That's probably why all the inns recover KO'd allies, because they put Phoenix Downs in the bedding. --Crazyswordsman 15:03, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

It appears in Crisis Core, should I put it in the article? -Azul 20:09, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Are we talking about the real life product or the item? [^_^]/
"I'd have drank it no matter how disgusting it was." - Angel, you'd drink piss if they marketed it as a "Hi-Potion", wouldn't you? :/ I'd have tried a sip, and if I didn't like it, dump it all out, wash it gently, then fill it with something better. Screw tequila.

Should or should not the tag on this page be something akin to (Product) or (Merchandise)? - +DeadlySlashSword+ 16:16, February 21, 2013 (UTC)

If you want to move it I think that "(Merchandise)" works best as we have "Merchandise" articles and categories, and not "Product".—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 16:22, February 21, 2013 (UTC)
I think (Merchandise) is good, but what if there was some other Potion merchandise than energy drinks? Cover all in same page?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 18:36, February 21, 2013 (UTC)
The current tag is simple yet still descriptive. We don't have an official merch tag. 92.24.164.105 23:45, February 21, 2013 (UTC)
I'm kind of suggesting we have one. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 00:03, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
