Crazyswordsman - Final Fantasy VI, because Drake says he wants to link to FF7 every day, which is bad because that game is so far inferior to FF6. TALK - 03:11, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Do you guys think this is notable for the Wiki?
Not really, I've written (well "started") as many walkthroughs as this.

They're probably all better anyway.
Not that I really care one way or the other, but if we don't want to keep this, then why have the articles on each game console, or on Sony & Nintendo?

True. | |||
Considering the fact that this is just a minor article with only a minuscule amount of tabs in the "Walkthrough" section, I think it would be better if the whole Walkthrough "Books" (as in the published versions of walkthroughs) would all be placed in one central page.
Published by Prima?[]
I saw Piggyback had a Japanese language option on their site so I was interested to see what guides they published in Japanese. The Japanese site amounts to just an "About us" page, however while on it "Random House" caught my eye (owner's of Prima). It says this:
なお、北米地域、ピギーバックの攻略本販売をランダムハウスの一部門であるプリマゲームズが担当しています。[1]
That Prima distribute Piggyback's guides in North America. So I have the American XIII (earliest US release) and XV (most recent US release) versions of those guides, and I can't find "Prima"'s name anywhere.
No other "About us" language seems to mention this, so maybe they did distribute them but not anymore? It seems old given they still call them "Random House". So (the now) Penguin Random House's site has a page on piggyback where they start with "Prima Games authors are[...]" and mention having written guides Piggyback haven't written. So I assume the text's a fuck up, but the page being there isn't.
I don't know. JBed (talk) 03:54, May 18, 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, I found my answer. I mean, I guess. Prima have the Piggyback LR guide on their site. The guide still doesn't have Prima's name anywhere on it though, nor Random House's. I don't know? Is that strange? Anyway, that doesn't mean Prima weren't involved in other Pback guides.
- I was looking at the ISBNs. LR's is definitely a Random House ISBN, but so is XIII's and XIII-2's. XIII and XIII-2 use 0-307 while LR uses 0-8041. So I don't know if Prima were involved in the first two or not, but Random House was at least. XV on the other hand doesn't seem to involve them. JBed (talk) 18:52, May 18, 2018 (UTC)
