It is indeed the clear example of Epic Fail Knight.--→BaschOria← 18:17, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
It still beeing it. Seriously.--→BaschOria← 18:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
I agree it shouldn't be compared with FF5's Freelancer. That one inherited new abilities with each class mastered, while this Onion Knight requires tons of JP only to improve slightly (it still doesn't gain EXP or allow skills to be equipped).
No Onion equipment on the iPad/iPhone version? Edit
It should be noted that it's not clear if the Onion equipment is obtainable in the iPad version of War of the Lions. That is to say, it isn't at all obvious and there appear to be no references to the equipment in the game, as well as no FAQs on the subject. Most all FAQs I've found point to PSP versions of the game and those that are specific to iPhone/iPad don't answer this question.
Considering that the PSP version makes it clear that the equipment itself is only available through multiplayer, and the iPad version does not possess multiplayer, it would seem that this is either not yet in the game, or never will be.
