Pictures Edit

Assassinate and Flash were really difficult to get, because it happens so fast, like a split-second, it's hard to get what's considered a decent picture. Anyone have any better photos?

Looks good to me. What this article would need is an intro paragraph. It doesn't have to be long, but just a general summary of the skillset. Like that ... it is versatile...? Takes more/less MP than comparative skillsets of other jobs? Uses Ninja's Magic stat to calculate damage, or...? I haven't played Dimensions, but ninja skills are usually stealth skills and the elemental throws usually worse than Black Mage's equivalents.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 02:50, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
I'll try to work on that on the weekend if I have time, and try to make a comparison between other abilities. Now in the comparison, would it be better to rule out magic, and just base it on the skillsets from classes such as Monk, Warrior, Paladin, etc? Because I'm not exactly sure if the damage formula for Ninjutsu is stat based. In Final Fantasy Dimensions, White and Black Magic each have their own stat to increase the overall health value to deduct or add from one's HP. Black Magic uses INT and White Magic uses MND (Mind), so I'm not sure if either of those stats would apply to Ninjutsu even though it does have elemental abilities, such as Flame, Flood, Blitz, and the like. Well when you level up or remove equipment do the ninja elemental skills do different damage? That could be one way to test it. I don't know if Dimensions has rows but if it does, then do ninjutsu skills ignore row or not. Anything like that could go into the intro. Some games have Elemental Affinity that makes equipment to boost elemental skills' damage. If Ninjutsu skills ignore character's stats and equipment when calculating damage, then it could be useful for a low stat character, and just aim to boost their MP?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:27, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
Awesome. That should help a lot in the testing process. I'll be sure to play around with it when I'm done tonight. And yes, Dimensions does have Rows. I know there's equipment that ignores rows, but there are weapons with higher stats thus making using that equipment eventually useless later on in the game. I'm not sure if rows will affect Ninjutsu skills or not. And if I'm not mistaken, there's a special weapon for most jobs, that you can get from a superboss. Although I think they just use one high stat Rod and Staff for the mages instead of creating more different ones for jobs such as Magus and Seer, etc. But I'll play around with it later. Obtained information Edit

So the information I've obtained thus far from experimenting is that rows do not affect damage/HP restoration values, and so far, I see no equipment that changes these values, both armor and weaponry. I did find out that the Focus ability changed the damage value of offensive Ninjutsu, but did not change the healing value of supportive Ninjutsu as the value is a set percentage based on the target's HP. I also found out with the INT+20% ability, it increases the damage of offensive Ninjutsu for skills that have an element which uses INT as a damage bonus in its calculation. However, with the MND+20% ability, the value of health restored from healing Ninjutsu skills did not change. I used two character's with the Ninja class and they still healed relatively the same amount of HP. Is there anymore information I should test out? Also, how do I construct the intro? I hope to learn this so I can add on to the other jobs in this game. DrowBlade (talk) 04:25, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

You can write it in basically any form you want, it just needs to be neutral in tone, i.e. not using the word "you" when meaning the player when describing the mechanics. You can check the manual of style if you want. If there is anything else you think that can be said about the skillset, how to use it in battle or if it is notably good/bad skillset, then you can just put it there.
