Revision as of 19:22, 8 May 2016

I was just wondering, is there any concept art of Neo-Exdeath available? If so, that might be a good addition to the article.--72.141.217.254 04:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

If any exists, it hasn't been released. --BlueHighwind 05:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

There is alot of fanart. I've got one picture that's very accurate. It was drawn by Despear: [1] just google for more. ZaFlareStar 20:20, 4th of June, 2010.

It doesn't look very accurate. It looks more like art from the FFTA2 guy than either Amano or Nomura. Zozo Jr 17:07, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

Re-edited due to the fact that Exdeath isn't proven to have transformed into Neo Exdeath. Terry 309 20:05, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Incorrectness

Loads of enemies in FFV have incorrect names. That's why I stopped making redirects. I found loads of them were wrong.  ILHI 21:20, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Creation

I had a thought, reading the FF5 articles. According to our sources here, Exdeath was born from the corrupt spirits of the monsters sealed in the Great Forest of Moore, including Enuo. When he was sucked into the Void at the end...what if it destroyed his physical body and set those spirits that made him up free? Maybe that's why Neo Exdeath looks....like that, he's made up of the spirits of monsters that made up Exdeath. Drake Clawfang 04:10, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I think you're getting confused, souls are not physical beings therefor there is no way that Ex-death could suddenly turn into such a thing (even with his polymorphing abilities there is no way that he would be able to turn into such a thing, if he could he would probably turn into something even more powerful). I think the souls dispersed from Ex-death's body after being sucked into the void and possessed other beings that were sucked into the void, the "possessed" beings emerged from the void using their combined physical strength which Ex-death alone couldn't accomplish and thus Neo Ex-death was born Neo meaning reincarnation so bacically Neo Ex-death is the incarnation of the many souls inside of Ex-death, therefor Neo Ex-death and Ex-death are two differrent beings altogether. The game also suggests that perhaps not all of the souls escaped with them and remained within ex-death. This is due to the fact that Neo Ex-death has alternate motives to Ex-death and without the other souls to keep order, the souls became out of control leading Neo Ex-death's main goal to destroy everything including himself so that way not only does he/she win but he/she gets to end the madness within him. On Ezorzeapedia they explain the creation of Neo Exdeath as stated here "When Exdeath is defeated, the Mu, out of his control, envelops him, absorbing him into the abyss. He is replaced with Neo-Exdeath, a separate entity (despite the name), one which seeks to erase "all memory, all existence, and all dimensions" and then erase themselves. Neo-Exdeath is apparently the Mu given sentience."
100% irrelevant. DoreikuKuroofangu 21:51, April 7, 2011 (UTC)

Battle

Four Bare job-classes, $toss, and HP+30%, three Lv.50, one Lv.49. I forgot to heal my people up to their maximum %s anyway so some of them only had little over 2000 health. All you have to do is hammer the last bosses with $toss and you get a very easy win. Two party members died, but that's because they didn't have as much health as they could have. This made the ending confuse me, but after reading FFV's story I understand.

Anyway, basically, if you've been clever, and got enough Gil from facing a few Mover enemies (when you're mastering all 100 abilities), using Zeninage through the entire battle is the definitely the easiest option. JBed 01:06, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

On dA I'm only subscribed to ObstinateMelon. So I wondered why I got another notification despite already reading the comic earlier that day. 79.69.220.198 22:01, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

New glitch?

During the fight against Neo Exdeath in the Advance version, I wanted Krile to use Mug, but she has been killed by Supernova before she could act. After this, well... nothing happened. Something seems to have caused the game to freeze; does anyone know what it was or did anything like this happen to someone else? --I'm Captain Zidane von Tribal of.. Inconsistancies

Neo Exdeath's description has some errors. For one, the front section of exdeath is what casts almagast, and destroying it is what stops almagast casts. The wiki says it's the middle section and that the front only casts physical attacks, when it's the back section that casts physical attacks. I'd change it myself but someone who's more knowledgeable on FFV should do it. Or perhaps I'm wrong and something else is going on because when I kill the front section, almagast casts stop entirely, because the more I look stuff up, the more that it supports what's on the article.

From when I played it, the front (right most) casts almagast, the middle casts grand cross. Killing the front and middle end the casts of almagast and grand cross respectively. Now this is the steam/mobile remake, but still...

Script Errors??

What's the problem exactly? It looks fine on my browser. Monterossa (talk) 05:12, April 14, 2016 (UTC)
Nvm, someone fixed it already. Monterossa (talk) 05:15, April 14, 2016 (UTC)
