How is she similar to Safer Sephiroth. She looks like a women in armor with a sheild.

Doesn't she look really like Jenova? 131.111.200.200 13:17, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

No. Not at all. She doesn't really look like anything notable. Kageryushin 21:04, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

pointless? Edit

Isn't kind of uncessary to add a goddess to the world of ff7 since there is no heaven or hell?Everyone returns to the life stream when they die so they don't get judged right?Although she does look cool.--74.210.24.180 06:03, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Not everything involving gods and goddesses have to have a heaven/hell. Obviously you read the bible to much to even delve into other mythologies. Besides there is a sort of heaven/hell concept anyways in FF7. I quote from the Lifestream article: "he novella Hoshi wo Meguru Otome expands on the purpose of the Lifestream, equating it to an afterlife with a concept of Heaven and Hell. Those who led good lives join with the Lifestream and their minds fragment and join the collective, while those who were sinful remain intact and must exist with the knowledge they cannot find absolution because of their actions. Aeris Gainsborough is able to help many of these people, including Dyne and Jessie find peace and allow them to come closer to atonement."

Athena Edit

Whoever put in the article that Athena was the goddess of war needs to read up on their mythology, as that is blatantly wrong. Goddess of Wisdom, thus the part where she bursts from Zeus' head full-grown.

She is also the goddess of DEFENSIVE war, so it is NOT blatently wrong.--Werefang[T/A] 03:39, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

a different take on minerva Edit

A thought Edit

As Sephiroth took over Jenova's position and role, perhaps Aerith took over Minerva's... Netherith 08:49, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Tag Edit

Shouldn't the tag be "Crisis Core"? Though she exists in the FF7 universe Minerva only appears in Crisis Core. DoreikuKuroofangu - Visit the Soul Shrine! 02:22, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

There is also Omega (Final Fantasy VII). Keltainentoukokuu 11:56, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
No. Because story elements are split from gameplay elements. Final Fantasy VII timeline. "Final Fantasy VII" is the compilation tag-- any subject that can apply to the entire compilation (ie. the entire storyline) should get the compilation tag-- which is "Final Fantasy VII". 80.42.241.243 16:42, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Trivia Edit

"The aspect of the Minerva statue is different in the English and Japanese versions of the game." - what does this mean? Drake Clawfang (talk) 18:05, July 18, 2013 (UTC)

Doesn't sound like it means anything. Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 00:32, July 19, 2013 (UTC)

Advent Children Edit

Looking around a AC interview, they note that there's an angel statue in the city, on an archway near the Seventh Heaven. The film staff say they put the angel there with a particular symbolism in mind, but refuse to say what. Think it's worth mentioning taking into account the Goddess Statue? Drake Clawfang (talk) 05:24, November 5, 2013 (UTC)

We could include it if we can find the quote from the producers where they mention the angel statue, otherwise, it sounds too vague and uninformative. Fëasindë Peth 17:06, November 5, 2013 (UTC)

More Information Edit

What's up with her "more information" section up in the table? It has one empty bullet point and one that says "super".

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 13:40, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
