I am profoundly confused now. Cid arrives at the Pharos holding an item using the Dawn Shard's model (5:50 onward), so I presumed it to be the Midlight Shard since the Dusk Shard is different. Then I checked the scene after Ghis blows himself up and the depowered Dawn Shard, which I presumed the shown model to be, is at 5:30 here and looks the same.

So, did they use the model twice, did Cid slip the Dawn Shard out of Ashe's pocket at the Pharos before he entered the scene, or what? I have no idea what that image is now. Drake Clawfang (talk) 13:02, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

And now if you'll go to 7:40-ish on the Cid vid, you can make out the shapes of the shards. The Dawn Shard is in the middle, the Dusk Shard on the right, so clearly the one on the left is the Midlight Shard...and it looks like this to me. Still doesn't explain what Cid is holding before. The Dawn Shard article says Cid takes the Dawn Shard from the party at Pharos at Ridorana and integrates it back to the Sun-Cryst. However, there is no scene where Cid actually takes it from you, he just arrives with the nethicite already in his possession and throws three of them to the Sun-Cryst, which makes it exhale mist. Very bizarre. I'd say it's a continuity error unless there is some scene before that where the party loses the Dawn Shard. I don't remember such a scene though. The one he is holding when he arrives is definitely the same Dawn Shard model as what Ashe has earlier.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 14:57, June 27, 2013 (UTC)
