I am one of the three people in the world to actually watch the anime. When is he ever called "Kumo'?
Oh, so who's the other one? Well, he isn't actually called Kumo in the English dub of the animé, but "Shiroi Kumo" is Japanese for "White Cloud", and Kumo is stated to be his real name in promotional materials, such as the character guide booklets in the ADV DVDs (Makenshi is in brackets and quote marks next to it (i.e. Kumo ("Makenshi")); same with Kiri/Madoushi).Speaking of which, in the Makenshi-centric epsiode where he fights his brother, the full episode title in English is "Makenshi: Battle of Kiri and Kumo".
Yes, i agree with yellowmage, Makenshi was often dubbed 'Kumo' by some of the characters in the japanese dub.. (which is far superior to the english one)
This anime is very under-rated!
If Kaze has a clichéd vincent look, then this guy got a clichéd name "evil knight", WTF??!!! As if Squeenix's imagination had hit a wall and died.
Not nearly as bad as the antagonist of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. I won't mention him by name out of fear of being tainted with the hideous cliché-ness!Oh BTW, good job on using the proper accented "e"!
Makenshi's nickname[edit source]
I was wondering something. Before I started watching this series, I was told that Makenshi had a nickname. But now I can't remember what it is, and don't see it in the article. I might have over looked it somehow though. Does anyone know? Aya787 (talk) 22:52, June 28, 2016 (UTC)
