Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!
This talk page is used for discussing improvements to the page "Lord Braska". It is not the place for general discussion or sharing stories about the topic of this article.

Should this article mention the two-faced-ness of Yevon and Braska's desire to show them all up for looking down upon him and his guardians? I mean, Yevon pretty much disowned him for marrying Yuna's mother and immediately did a 180 when he defeated Sin, and of course, hid the fact he married an Al-Bhed (though how that stayed hidden I don't know. Thought: People in Spira are kinda "slow".) --FFN 04:59, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Wait a minute, I thought that Braska was thirty five when he defeated Sin. But now it says he's twenty seven. Which one is correct?

It was 35 originally and someone changed it to 27. Is it ever said in the game? Guess I'll go look.Keltainentoukokuu 02:27, January 21, 2012 (UTC)EDIT: Well I can't find any mention from game script from GameFAQs. Should we just remove any reference to age?Keltainentoukokuu 02:31, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
Hmmm, well if its not stated in any other sites or guides and so on then yeah maybe its best to remove it or at the least re word it to something like "Allthough not stated it is belived Braska is of a rough age of 35", just a suggestion though.AaaaaThe Nemesisx 02:38, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

Rename for the sake of FF Dimensions?[]

It looks like someone made a link to a yet nonexistent Braska (Final Fantasy Dimensions) page, and another link to Braska (Final Fantasy X). I suppose it won't matter until the page for the Dimensions town is made, but is this going to be renamed at any point? Yrusama (talk) 02:15, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

This would be moved to "Lord Braska" per the title to avoid tag rule. 79.69.198.111 19:20, January 17, 2013 (UTC)
So we are renaming it to "Lord Braska", right? If so, we'll need a bot to correct links as WhatLinksHere shows over 250 articles pointing to it, much of it possibly being connected with the navbox so the true value is hard to estimate.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 21:58, February 19, 2013 (UTC)

This article has the wrong tag. I'd support Lord Braska over Braska (Final Fantasy X) but either way.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:30, March 2, 2013 (UTC)

As I said, it should be "Lord Braska" as per the Naming Policy. JBed (talk) 16:32, March 2, 2013 (UTC)
"Lord" is not his actual title, is it? It should be "High Summoner Braska". Monterossa (talk) 12:18, March 7, 2014 (UTC)

Home?[]

The article says Braska is from Besaid, but surely he was from Bevelle? He mentions liking Besaid in the Jecht spheres and through a roundabout method had Kimahri take Yuna to Besaid, but Braska himself is from Bevelle, isn't he?--Hawkeye2701 (talk) 20:49, May 4, 2019 (UTC)

Yeah he's from Bevelle, that's where he started the pilgrimage at least.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 01:51, May 5, 2019 (UTC)

Rename again?[]

I've been thinking about this with the arrival of this character in opera omnia. I've just read the above debate, and I can see the logic, but maybe we ought to revisit the discussion. It's not very common in any wiki space to add a person's title unless there is absolutely a compelling reason to do so. We don't call Leo "General Leo" in reference, nor do we use "General Caraway". So, the obvious question would be: why is this one case so special? He's just "Braska" in appearances beyond FFX. At least it's something to chew on. Swordzmanp236 (talk) 21:03, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

Braska is a character in FFX and a town in a another game, apparently, and so title is used for disambiguation rather than a tag. Opera Omnia pages are not meant to be subpages anymore so they probably don't have to have the same name as the main character page. Like Garnet has her really long royal name for her page but probably does not need to be the really long royal name for her Opera Omnia page.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 14:26, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
