Move?

Shouldn't this be Logos (Final Fantasy X-2) ? Sulu mata engkudu ! 07:50, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

There was a rule on using the compilation title but I'm not sure what it meant. BLUER一番 09:05, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
But it won't really do justice to the article, right, since if we say Logos is from FFX, then people like me would take it literally and search throughout FFX for him, when in actual fact, he was introduced in FFX-2... ? Sulu mata engkudu ! 14:21, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
Not if the article doesn't say he's in FFX. The article doesn't say he's in FFX, so looking to find him in FFX wouldn't be very clever.
Basically, we distinguish between story elements and gameplay elements. Each compilation has its own timeline, and so Omega fits on the "Final Fantasy VII compilation timeline", and it effects events in other games, so it gets the compilation tag. In the future, it may appear in, or be referenced in, another FFVII game, meaning we'd have to use the compilation tag anyway.
Gameplay elements, like enemies, use the game tag since they can only concern one game, ever. There are articles like Guard Hound, which concern one compilation. I suppose if it were to get a tag it would probably be at "Enemy".
"Final Fantasy X" is just as confusing as would be giving Genesis the "Final Fantasy VII" tag. Not that what we do, but I mean, if we had to, what other tag could we give him? He appears in two games in the compilation, but not in the main game itself. 88.108.108.42 11:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Move? -Azul (talkcontribs) 07:57, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I was thinking "Logos (Character)", since he also appears in X-2 International, but I wonder if that's cheating. BLUER一番 08:27, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Well, the other characters I've seen have the tag (FFX-2) and the other disambig. pages with characters do the same. -Azul (talkcontribs) 08:34, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
I suppose. Only Shinra, as a character, has the tag. The rest are jobs, summons and bosses that appear exclusively in X-2. BLUER一番 08:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Move back? On the grounds that it's supposed to be a rule of the wiki. And I'm sure there are a lot of other examples. Well, there's at least one, and I'm sure I have used other examples.

Alternatively, we change the compilation tag to "Spira", so it's less confusing. But since "X-2" just adds "2" to the end of the original game, the series should be called "Final Fantasy X", just like any other time that happens. Ivalice is only the Ivalice compilation tag since that's the thing the games have in common, there's no specific rule to their title. 88.108.108.42 11:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Well, at least the name of the article has a -2 at the end of it. Work done. Sulu mata engkudu ! 12:20, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Azul, linkages should be fixed. BLUER一番 13:36, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry. I'll get on that. -03:01, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Should'nt someone put that his Suitsphere is the Gunner Suitsphere. P.S. A Suitsphere is the male equivalent of the ladies Dressphere.
