{{MMILTalk|time=07:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)|text=Okay. As you may or may not know, there has been a wiki dump over at the Airship article. I went ahead and put it back to how it was before, but I do think we could go through it and add stuff to the [[List of Airships]] article. I added a few things, but I'm totally beat, so I'm going to bed. I ended after FFVI, but someone else should probably go back over it to see if there's something important that I missed. For pure convenience for the person who wants to go over it, here's a link to the [http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/index.php?title=Airship&diff=67287&oldid=67283 revision history] I was going over at the Airship article. Fahrenheit (FFX airship)
I didn't have enough room to write it in the summary box, so I did it here in stead. It's true, the airship in FFX was never named... in the NA-version, in the Japanese and International versions (And the FFX-2 spin-off) and a Final Fantasy Ultimania (I've forgotten which one), it was refered to as the Fahrenheit. This is verified by approximately 50.000-150.000 different websites, if you, for some reason, disregard the actual games themselves. Besides, when writing information you want to make sure is correct, you should really use more than one source (and also take foreign versions into account). Try finding some more FF sites, other than solely relying on ffcompendium. They have several flaws and misinformations, even in the article you most likely refered to, i.e. the Blackjack is not refered to as "Blackjack", but Setzer's Airship (techically, it's correct, but still, the actual name is not stated). --Hecko X 16:29, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- I really don't like relying on Ultimanias since they're not released here and because I'm steaming to see an FFIV and an FFVI one. Crazyswordsman 16:47, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
AK
AK says: "BOOM! Our survey says...TINY BRONCO NOT AIRSHIP!!!". Article says: "This is a list of airships and other aerial means of mechanized transportation in the Final Fantasy series." Additional survey says: "Sarcasm works best, when you don't screw it up ^_^" But let's just leave things as they are, I don't mind the independant article.
Then why don't you fucking call it list of Aerial transportation? You don't except other aerial crafts in a list of airships, just like you don't expect Half-Life to get anything over 2.0 on GameSpot. But hey, screw logic.
If we take that, then the Strahl wouldn't really be in their either, as it is more of an aeroplane than an airship
More than half of the airships of Final Fantasy doesn't qualify as airships at all, since they use rockets, wings or propellers to stay in the air. I can, honest to all I have dear, say that as far as I can recall, FFVI is the only game with actual airships in it. They rest are just called airships because they look like (naval) ships and are able to fly. P.S. Mind your language. Getting upset is one thing, I can relate to that, direct insults however are quite "annoying"...

Aw gee, I'm sorry I insulted the article. My apologies.
Crazyswordsman - Final Fantasy VI, because Drake says he wants to link to FF7 every day, which is bad because that game is so far inferior to FF6. TALK - 17:15, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Wouldn't the Hovercrafts count then? After all, they hover in the AIR, no?
Good to know that "Then why don't you fucking call it list of Aerial transportation?" wasn't directed at me, because that would have been a comment beyond idiotic then, wouldn't it?
Goldberry2000 - That was a rhetorical question, and the answer was my fist TALK - Sandbox 18:17, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
The pretend arguements here are so much funnier than my disfunctional family...

Okay. As you may or may not know, there has been a wiki dump over at the Airship article. I went ahead and put it back to how it was before, but I do think we could go through it and add stuff to the List of Airships article. I added a few things, but I'm totally beat, so I'm going to bed. I ended after FFVI, but someone else should probably go back over it to see if there's something important that I missed. Catapult?
I'm pretty sure they just used that to refer to the 'catapult' used to launch the ship, because the entire zone was called that, not just the ship itself, and the ship was never named that in any dialogue that I recall... Dazuro 23:48, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Ragnorak and the Gardens
The Ragnorak section is too big. I'll make a seperate page for it as well as adding a link here for it and the Garden's (Balamb and Galbadia) since they two can be considered 'airships'.
Size Chart
I'm looking for any stats on the airships here. Anything at all but I'm in particular looking for size stats (length, width, height, etc). I intend on making a size chart that displays all the featured airships beside each other to compare in size, shape, breadth, etc. Any help in this regard would be quite welcome.
Translation
Queen Hilda
Is this airship really after the Queen Hilda Garde of FFIX? Although, it's Queen, its idea is more similar to 'Princess' Hilda of FFII, Two Horns and the boots. Hmm, well, maybe it's not.--Bluemask 13:41, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Split
Given the sheer number of them, I'm wondering if the FF12 airships should be split into their own page. Thoughts? Doreiku Kuroofangu 04:45, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
Vaan's ship?
What about Vaan's airship in the ending of XII? I think it was shown early on in RW as well. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find an entry on it anywhere on this wiki. Surely it has a name or something at least? Dazuro 01:34, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
