Mucho appreciated, thanks for all your work! Great job! :) Kimlasca warrior (talk) 01:28, December 22, 2013 (UTC)
I can also help place the official English translations into the right places should you guys come across some English preview videos. I'm not really actively searching for those myself.  mecorx (talk) - 16:44, Dec 28, 2013 Microchu ATB.png

Google Translate[edit source]

Please don't. Microchu will be angry.  mecorx (talk) - 15:05, Dec 25, 2013 Microchu ATB.png

Subpages[edit source]

May I suggest making subpages for H2 sections which are very long? The article is long as it is.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 15:24, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

LR has possibly the longest translations page for a single player FF game. Also, just look how much each H2 section takes: it wouldnt hurt to put some of those sections as a subpage in my opinion.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 16:32, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
It is in fact the longest page on the wiki.  mecorx (talk) - 23:52, Jan 12, 2014 Microchu ATB.png
Subpaging makes things more difficult to manage. Trufaxx.
This page is almost entirely text. Images are what cause the biggest problem with loading times. Other reasons to subpage include more freedom for header sections, but that wouldn't apply here.
But whatever. 23:55, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
Also, people may want to navigate a text archive like this with CTRL+F and it won't work so well if you break it up. Length on its own isn't that big a deal if it doesn't come with massive load times.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 01:15, January 13, 2014 (UTC)

Some possible mistake?[edit source]

I see Coliseum, but I don't see "The Slaughterhouse", even more where I see the translation of Coliseum it says well what could be its Japanese translation, but when checking on the NPC Slaughterhouse Zoe, the same term for Coliseum is used for her, even though I've heard several times the term taikaida (たいかいだ) which roughly translates to "'s Tournament" for The Slaughterhouse (truth be told the full term for The Slaughterhouse is something like tobitaikaida or tokitaikaida, but I cannot grasp the first part well) So can we double-check this? --BGMaxie (talk) 05:24, February 23, 2014 (UTC)

I have no idea what you're going on about... When you talk to Zoe, she says: ...闘技大会に出場するかい (...Tougitaikai ni Shutsujou suru kai), which translates to "Wanna participate in the (fighting) tournament?"
"The Slaughterhouse" is called 闘技場 (tougijou) which translates to Coliseum or Arena. It is the yellow map marker in the middle of this image. There is nothing that translates literaly into "Slaughterhouse" in the Japanese version. mecorx (talk) - 06:06, Feb 23, 2014 Microchu ATB.png
I see. Well it wasn't just Zoe that used the term, but other characters like the Director NPC you have to meet to infiltrate Yusnaan Palace that used the term "tougitaikaida" when he told you to go to The Slaughterhouse to earn the garb. So seeing the term being used and not finding it here, I found it weird and wanted to clarify if there was a possible mistake. But just to make it clear, when the characters talk about "tougitaikaida" they don't mean The Slaughterhouse itself but rather the "event" that takes place in The Slaughterhouse? --BGMaxie (talk) 22:15, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
He says "闘技大会だ!" (tougitaikai da) to indicate that's what he wants you to do, so yes they are referring to the event. "Da" is the short form of "Desu" which means "to be". "闘技大会だ!" would translate into "The tournament!". It's not really a term that needs to be listed.  mecorx (talk) - 09:04, Feb 25, 2014 Microchu ATB.png
