Crazyswordsman - Final Fantasy VI, because Drake says he wants to link to FF7 every day, which is bad because that game is so far inferior to FF6. TALK - 15:03, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Wow. She actually looks less crappy in Revenant Wings.
You've played as Edward and you complain about Larsa?

I never said anything good about Edward. She's the second worst character in her game behind that old geezer.
Good news[]
Everybody's favorite pre-pubescent Emperor is going to be fully playable in the International version of XII. You will be able to set his gambits, and he will even has his own unique equipment. Now you can send Larsa to his death all you want! Vossler is also getting the same treatment. Damn it Square, this International version sounds like it's going to rock so hard.
I am fairly certain Reddass will be playable too, and also the Mark Hunters who join our Hunts, though the former's more likely! I read they wanted to make it so you can recruit people to join Hunts during the development phase years ago, and enable a second player to control characters. Will it be possible, in their International version? Here's anticipating! Controlling Larsa... nice! His weapons are a Joyeuse and a Sword Breaker (that weird measure thing).

I know this is a bit off topic, kind of, but how can I go about getting a copy of the international version? I really really want it, but it's not going to be released in the US, is it? I've never imported before, so I don't really know what to do or where to go. Can any of you importers help me? Please? :D?
Originally I used to go to my local import store, before the owner closed down. :( I owe around 70% of my collection to that shop. Thankfully, the internet saved me, with www.play-asia.com. The site is great, has a ton of great games. I got my KH2: Final Mix+ from there, and I intend to get FFXII International from there too. EDIT: In fact, I just went there, and guess what they have on pre-order. :)

I'm pre-ordering right now. Thanks, Diablo! EEEE! ^_^
That's a Woman[]
If it looks like a woman and sounds like a woman, and Larsa does...as far as I'm concerned, Larsa is a woman. I'm going to refer to her "she", plain and simple. There is no way that is a man. I don't mean "OMG IS THAT A MAN" like Kuja, I mean literally...that is not a man. Drake Clawfang
- More like a girl. Larsa is only like ten. As for me, I set the bar at thirteen, ten is a little disturbing to be seeing them as women. --BlueHighwind 02:56, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
BlueLionheart - "Be careful, dear friend, lest you fall into the endless ocean of stars..." - 水風死 TALK - Too early for me to be up!!!
Larsa is not a girl. Why do you think they call him "Emperor" and not "Emperess"?
Translation error. That's a woman, accept it. Look at that picture, listen to her speak, and tell me she's not a woman. Drake Clawfang
- Look, I'm saying that it wouldn't be tight, but you really can't use Larsa as a woman yet. You'll have to wait a good five years. At this point you'd be a pedophile, Drake. --BlueHighwind 03:03, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, I am not a pedophile. I don't find Larsa particularly attractive. She's not ugly, but she's not that pretty either. Drake Clawfang
- Whoa whoa whoa, hold on. She's only twelve? Well I suppose that explains the lack of a figure, but her voice made me place her in her mid-teens, maybe six-seventeen. Interesting, she's quite well-spoken for a 12-year old. Drake Clawfang
BlueLionheart - "Be careful, dear friend, lest you fall into the endless ocean of stars..." - 水風死 TALK - Too early for me to be up!!!
Okay, okay. We all know Larsa looks/sounds like a girl, but so what? Just because a guy looks/sounds like a girl doesn't mean they are a girl.
I beg to differ. "I think, therefore I am". I think I am correct in refering to Larsa as a she - therefore, I am. You cannot argue with DeCartes. Drake Clawfang
BlueLionheart - "Be careful, dear friend, lest you fall into the endless ocean of stars..." - 水風死 TALK - Too early for me to be up!!!
I think, therefore you are, crazy. Not so fun having whoever DeCartes is used against you, huh?
But how do I know you think that? Maybe your text bubble, and entire existence, are figments of my imagination, and you don't really exist. Prove to me you exist and you think, and we shall continue this debate. Drake Clawfang
BlueLionheart - "Be careful, dear friend, lest you fall into the endless ocean of stars..." - 水風死 TALK - Too early for me to be up!!!
Go to my talk page, and I shall endeavor to find a way.
I would, but how do I know your talk page exists? Maybe I'm sleeping, and when I wake up it will be this morning, and this conversation will never have taken place. Drake Clawfang
First of all, Cogito ergo sum, "I think therefore I am" is a syllogism which proves the very existence of the being that thinks, not the other way round. Secondly, Descartes's (not "DeCartes") postulate cannot be used to justify the existence of beings outside the thinking person. Thirdly, the kid is only 12! What did you expect, that they used James Earl Jones as his voice actor?
I apologize for mispelling his name, as for the rest, I know how the quote is meant to work, along with his other two certainties of existence (or whatever the term for them is, I cannot recall), but I like quoting that out of context. Also, I've taken philosophy and know the Latin phrase. As for Larsa, I actually think think she sounds older than 12, hence my surprise at her age. Drake Clawfang
Is this some joke topic? Anyway, all official materials point out that Larsa is a boy. A 12-year old, to be sure. Those around Larsa refer to him with the title "Lord". Ultimania prints his gender with the kanji for male. If you're trying to be philosophical, you're at the wrong wiki. And do not turn talk pages into forums, thank you.
In all seriousness, I am perfectly aware Larsa is a male. However, due to his voice, name and appearance, I am actually more comfortable refering to him as a woman, which is what I choose to do thus. Drake Clawfang
I kinda agree with Drake. In a series with REALLY Feminine men(Tidus, XII's own Vaan), it is good to see a hands-down winner in the Is-that-a-girl? contest.
Dont forgett ff8's Kiros. That guys pretty feminine O_o
If you are haters of him, that doesn't make him a female, but he still a boy of 12-13 years, some male kids at that age have a girl voice, not everyone but some of them have voices like that. He is a kid in Japanese and in English version though and besides the Japaneses like to do their characters with girl faces, like sephiroth, their likes are very different than the likes of you americans. you guys think that a guy most have an gangsta face to be male, but on the Japanese games always they will have girl face and sometimes voices like that. Example: Sephiroth=long hair= every of you think he is gay. 0_o i mean, what you guys think everyone who looks like a girl most be one?
Job Class[]

Can we assume his job class is
Now we're giving a job to LARSA? Who's next? Marlene Wallace?
I don't know about alchemist. I would just say...warrior
Larsa is playable, at least as a guest and all. Marlene is a NPC, never playable. Bad example. Back on topic, I would think a Alchemist, if anything at all.

Chemist/Warrior, or Chemist/Fencer.
Wish we had a poll on the main page. Should we just agree Alchemist?
On what grounds is Larsa a Chemist/Alchemist? It ultimately doesn't matter what anyone agrees on because no character in Final Fantasy XII has a job class. Which makes me wonder why so many of them have job classes on their pages, but no matter. In my game, I gave Ashe white magic and swords, does that mean she's a Paladin? Not anymore than my Basch is a Black Mage or Dragoon for my giving him spears and black magic. Drake Clawfang 01:36, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- For XII, I'd like to think we could determine their supposed non-existant job classes by their initial equips. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 01:43, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- In VI Mog starts with a Spear, does that mean he's a Dragoon? Gogo starts with a sword, is he a fighter? For characters without clear job classes, for us to give them classes there must be strong evidence for that class - Tifa isn't definitively called a Monk, but it's clear she is from her attacks, weapons and stats. Any evidence for character classes in XII beyond "their initial weapon is this"? Drake Clawfang 01:45, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm done editing the XII character pages. The only ones who I didn't change are Balthier and Vaan. Balthier because, due to his abilities over several games he's clearly a gunner, and Vaan because "Sky Pirate" has no category, but is said to be similar to Thieves. Any questions? Drake Clawfang 01:48, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
We should just leave it at: his job class in non-existant--Yuffie2211 01:51, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed. Even in IZJS, they do not have default job classes >;3 AJDurai 01:52, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
I know this is old...but wouldn't he be classified as a fencer, seeing as the fencer class is the only one with access to rapiers? 199.245.163.1 16:23, December 4, 2012 (UTC)
A boy ?[]
I thought Larsa was a young girl till about 17 hours in

"After the events of Final Fantasy XII Larsa becomes the 13th emperor of Archadia, and the sixth from House Solidor". That is a spoiler.

Wait wait wait... WHAT? "English Voice Actor: Johnny McKeown" that voice was a DUDE? I get that Larsa is a 12 year old boy, but... Wow.
