I know there is a "Jump" stat in FFTA...what is it for?-- 20:54, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Accuracy?[edit source]

It it possible for this move to miss?

Final Fantasy XIII[edit source]

Fang is (probably) a Dragoon, and she can do Jump too - so why didn't anyone post it?

Jump as a field command[edit source]

Should there be an article for the jump field command? The only games where you can jump whenever you want on the field are FFXIII-2 and Dirge of Cerberus (not sure of this one), but in some others you can jump in specific jumping spots.Keltainentoukokuu 17:01, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe a separate article called Jump (Field Command). You can jump in FFVI (only in Zozo) and in FFIX when a ? appears above a character in certain areas. Fenrir9 19:16, March 17, 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure, that's a pretty common thing in games in general, and it sounds like the article would be a short one... - +DeadlySlashSword+ 19:22, March 17, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I got thinking about it when FFXIII-2 has an ability to improve your jump command and you can hover a bit if you keep holding the button when it is active. But there isn't really a similar ability in any other game that I know of.Keltainentoukokuu 21:15, March 17, 2012 (UTC)
Jumping in VI, IX, and XIII is a little different to an actual Jump command. In the listed examples, it's just putting you from point A to point B. The fact that the character jumps is irrelevant. Or at least, from a gameplay perspective.
Being able to jump on command is different. And definitely deserves its own article. Naming articles is simple, "Jump (ability)", "Jump (Command)". I suppose the "Command" tag never had field commands in mind, but it works, right? 22:04, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

What make the Dragoons jump that high?[edit source]

Do you think they used the Pogo sticks or something?
