:I know it's an old topic, but for what it's worth, it's exactly like you said. The same effect as with the Elixir does happen in that you can move around, but it doesn't make any difference because you're locked in the room until you go do the storyline thing, at which point, you have to hit X/OK to confirm anyway. I never said anything about a "standard order." Your additions are valuable, but I believe you have erroneously interpreted what I said to mean that all scripts are structured in a similar manner. What it should read--and you would probably agree--is that due to the absence of movement restriction, the script never gets to the part where it acknowledges receipt of the item. This should be clarified. Therefore, while your edit is helpful, the Makou screencap is quite justified, as it conveys the aforementioned information. I noticed in the Temple of the Ancients, after picking up the Bahamut materia, I could move around. I had read about this glitch already, but I don't think I could attempt anything because I couldn't leave the room and had to go the other end and do the storyline thing... I think.
