Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!
This talk page is used for discussing improvements to the page "Hunt (Final Fantasy XII)". It is not the place for general discussion or sharing stories about the topic of this article.

Why does this need to be deleted? Is it going to kill the website if it stays?

It's not nominated for deletion, and this is a perfectly fine article. Perhaps there is another page you are thinking of? ScatheMote 21:29, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

As my direct edit and it's comment reflected, Orthos hunt is numbered 35 on my (FFXII) version but this wiki numbers it 34. I wonder if my version or this wiki is erroneous. DynV 01:44, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

Hunt 35: Crime and Punishment is the name of the petition in the NA version, and 34: Cry for its Power is the one against Rocktoise. What would be your version's Hunt 34? BLUER一番 01:52, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
Typo, invert my OP numbers (mine is 34), as my direct correction reflect. I suppose you're interested in my 35, it's Paradise Risen. DynV 02:00, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
Which version is this? Seems like it's missing a mark. BLUER一番 02:13, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
Where could I find that out? I lost the box and the CD surface was damaged. DynV 02:50, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
Wait, could this be the Japanese version? I think the Rogue Tomato Hunt was Hunt 00 in that version. BLUER一番 02:18, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
The first hunt mentioned is Red & Rotten in the Desert numbered 1 plus I can't read Kanji. DynV 02:50, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
I have no idea how it happened. AFAIK the Hunt numbers are all correct. Try tracing the Hunt numbers of your version and the wiki and see where the numbers mismatch. BLUER一番 02:55, October 27, 2010 (UTC)
I caught this reading another part of the tutorial : IMPORTANT: Please note that the last three hunts are out of order when compared to the rest. I didn't want to go back and renumber everything to put them all in order. #21 is actually the first side quest and should be looked at if you plan on performing it (since it can be missed). Forgive me! #20 and #19 are both discussed in the walkthrough and can always be done later. DynV 03:34, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

When they can be accepted

None of our hunt articles that I've read say when hunts can be accepted in the storyline, or whatever other prerequisites exist. Because going back and forth to Rabanastre after every slight progression in the story is becoming tedious. Thing is, I can't find these informations anywhere on the internet. Disappoint. I would have checked when things became available and added it to the wiki when it did... but I didn't think the wiki would lack such information. 79.69.193.113 22:34, September 5, 2011 (UTC)

There are hunt boards in other places than just Rabanastre. The location of hunt boards could be added if it's not there already actually...Keltainentoukokuu 23:21, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
There ya go, when hunts become available added.Keltainentoukokuu 03:59, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
I know there are other boards, but Board + Montblanc in one place is best.
Also thanks yooz so muches, I love you! <3 79.69.206.135 12:09, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

IJZS

According to mecorx and the Ultmania, they're still Elite Marks. Drake Clawfang (talk) 04:59, January 8, 2015 (UTC)

OK, I put it to add the information about the IZJS version, I expected someone to correct it, but as you advise me, I should continue to call them Elite Marks, and I will correct that information by now. Thank You.

Oh oh, already deleted, I just wanted to help those late players like me, but instead of correct me, they just deleted that piece of information.
