Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!
This talk page is used for discussing improvements to the page "Hein (Final Fantasy III)". It is not the place for general discussion or sharing stories about the topic of this article.

In FFVIII, Hyne gave people his cast-off skin to end the war. He then fleed from the planet of VIII. Hyne/Hein in III is a skeleton, so without his skin. He is also a wizard.

I think it's pretty clear that VIII's Hyne was inspired by III's and is another connection between games in the series.  ILHI 15:59, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

From what I understand, Hyne gave part of his body. It is never specified what that really means, and it is never said "cast-off skin", unless I'm remembering things wrong. Also, I get the impression that the Hyne from VIII is far more powerful than the Hyne from III. The Hyne from VIII is more like a god. -- 20:19, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
