Uniforms Edit

I don't like their uniforms: males could wear shorts, just as females wear skirts. And then there's Lightning with way outstanding-norm uniform. Geez, it's so unfair. Where are equality rights (don't get it as males should wear skirts, no) in this Maker-forgotten backwater satellite!?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 22:27, December 3, 2010 (UTC)

Well compare the cadet/SeeD uniform in FFVIII between male/female. Which one is better for combat, huh? :p Kinda impressive any girls pass at all.Keltainentoukokuu 01:15, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

I actually played only demo version of FFVIII: can't say much. Sorry.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 23:01, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

SeeD Uniforms 2

SeeD formal uniforms

In FFVIII's defence, the cadet uniforms were based on the school uniforms of Japan (yes, the girls wear plait skirts while the boys wear trousers. Thus is the reason why long socks/stocking/tights are vogue with Japanese girls to keep legs warm). The formal Seed uniform I would agree with, though. The girls look more like secretaries than military members, although again isn't this the formal uniform design for the navy?.
Is there an image of Lightning wearing the uniform? Otherwise we could just add up her attire to independent taste (much like how Squall chose to wear his cadet uniform differently than the other cadets.)
Though it pains me to admit it, I would say that the points for practicality for combat goes to SOLDIER/DEEP GROUND (don't recall any female SOLDIER members....) Netherith 00:43, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
There was Turks and at least the women there didn't wear skirts. How Cloud offers for Aeris to join SOLDIER you'd think there would be some female SOLDIERs but... Keltainentoukokuu 01:46, December 5, 2010 (UTC)

LRFFXIIIEdit

Apparently, Light's FFXIII outfit is called "Guardian Corps" in the English version. How do we handle it?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 16:07, February 7, 2014 (UTC)

As it refers to the Guardian Corps organization, info on it belongs to this article. No need to disambig.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:29, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
