Kingdom hearts[]
Grand Cross is a reaction command in Kingdom Hearts 2. Myself 123 20:51, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- That has no connection whatsoever with the Final Fantasy series. If it was related to status or incredible dammage, or maybe final bosses, maybe. But it isn't. - Henryacores^ 20:52, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- i would say it is related as KH is made by Square and has alot of FF references. Myself 123 21:00, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- When does it appear? What's it effect? Does it have anything in common with the recurring ability? Is it even magic-based? - Henryacores^ 21:04, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- OK, it may not have any relation to the recurring ability (It's used to deal alot of damage agaist the Living Bone emeny), but it's still a referance to the ability. Myself 123 21:10, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Children's card games[]
I highly doubt this is notable, but there's a Yugioh card by the name of Grand Cross (Grand Convergence in the TCG), which features a model of the solar system. It's not worth putting on the page, but I figured I'd note it here for those interested.

Similar origin basis, but not actually based on the FF ability or vice versa. See: Grand Cross on Wikipedia. -- Saethori (T / C) - 19:16, September 14, 2009 (UTC)
German Name[]
In the German translations of Final Fantasy V & IX this attack is named Supernova, making it the same as Sephiroth's signature move. Also both animations feature the solar system. Is there any connection in the japanese versions?82.83.76.66 17:29, January 23, 2012 (UTC)
Command Ability?[]
Do we want to count Brigade, ATB and/or the TCG when it comes to treating Grand Cross as a Command Ability? Doreiku Kuroofangu 02:43, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
