I don't think this article should be deleted as it forms a very important part of the story in Crisis Core. True, it needs a huge amount of MoS'ing and expanding, but I see a future in this article. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 15:13, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

I claimed it unnecessary mostly because the article is basically incomprehensible. But, if you say it's a vital part of Crisis Core, then I believe you. ScatheMote 15:18, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

It is better written and more comprehensible, so it could stay as an article. But, I think since there's not a huge amount of information and it doesn't really exist (it seems to be a creation of Genesis) it could be merged into Genesis's article. Though, as I said before, it could stay as its own article. ScatheMote 15:43, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

I think, maybe the Gift of the Goddess is Lifestream? After defeating Genesis and shattering his Goddess Materia he falls unconscious and appears in a place full of Lifestream and meets the "Goddess", who apparently doesn't let him "return to the Planet" just yet, rejects him, and he wakes up in the real world and his degradation is healed. Lifestream surfaces in Banora why they have those peculiar apples growing in there, and Lifestream crystallises into Materia, which is the Materia he finds in the cave underground. I don't think the Goddess is a real "person", but more like a personification of the Planet, like if the Planet wants to appear to someone it can show them a human form. (But then you battle Minerva at the last mission, well it's not really explained what that was all about.)Keltainentoukokuu 17:13, July 8, 2010 (UTC)Keltainentoukokuu

I never take anything that happens in sidequests that seriously since Penance in Final Fantasy X, but I digress. The game is very vague on the subject of the Gift of the Goddess. It must be some sort of metaphor or personification that only the game developers will know about and it is only guesswork for the rest of us. But in a way, I suppose that it is better for it.
