Versus XIII possibly FFXV[]

Take a look. Sounds like Versus XIII has been renamed Final Fantasy XV. Could be a mistake on the costume designer's behalf, but I doubt it. Emperor-PSPFieldMATEUS 06:11, March 16, 2013 (UTC)

lol, someone did make mention of this in the shinra news talk page, and ixbran went on a little opinion rant about it above. but i agree with you. its not likely that Roen made a mistake. From a legal perspective, ROEN has contractual relations with Square Enix which would make things like the title of their project very clear.. and back in 2008 it was pretty explicit that they were working together to design clothing for "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" (you can find pics of FFv13 x ROEN floating around). The fact that they now list their 2008 collaboration with Square Enix as "Final Fantasy 15 (tentative)" instead of "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" when they used to use that term with certainty is highly indicative that "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" as a title is dead. Assuming it's the same game and they didn't repurpose its elements, the only thing left to consider is the caveat behind FFXV ie. "(tentative)". It could go by any other name.
Personally, i've supported the idea that vs13 be changed to 15 ever since agito became type-0. and if you consider that another news source reports that this has been on their website since july last year, the name change might have been what sparked the rumors of vs13s cancellation going since "versus 13" per se no longer existed from that point. --Arciel Spira (talk) 07:18, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
in an interesting turn of events.. the title of the game on their website has since been changed to "Final Fantasy Versus XIII (tentative)"... they published a note saying it was a mistake but its pretty far fetched to call it a typo. After all, it was originally listed as Final Fantasy Versus XIII (i actually remember seeing this before), then changed to Final Fantasy XV and now changed back.
something is definitely up, but they're not gonna be the ones to reveal it. --Arciel Spira (talk) 09:14, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

I'm reminded of that fake video showing that FFvXIII had become FFXV and was being made for both PS3 and Wii U! I wonder if the people that made it are laughing right now. YellowMage (talk) 01:13, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

I think you guys should see this[1] --No tengo ni la mas mínima idea de quien es Hauteclaire pero por sí queres hablar con el clic aquí 06:57, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

That's dated 20/7/2012, in other words, based on the fake rumour that there's about a small essay's worth of yelling about on this very page. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 07:04, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

Interesting Image[]

http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/15/159936/2493176-9062251001-13705.jpg
Look too the Far Left of the image. Found this on the KW Forums. I dont know if it is real, or not. But I felt it was interesting enough to be worth sharing. Source is GT Planet.net forums.
Ixbran (talk) 09:07, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

Here's to dreaming lol. If only it was real. :/ It was confirmed to be a fake as indicated by the comments over here: http://gematsu.com/2013/06/square-enix-announces-e3-2013-lineup Kimlasca warrior (talk) 09:15, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
But keep in mind the poster never mentioned that this image being taken at E3, or anything relaqted to E3. Just posted the picture. This could very well be a leaked image from an SE Employie from their headquarters in Japan in preperation for another event after E3.

Though personally i hope this is false, soly because i dont want to have to buy a PS4 to get KHIII.
Ixbran (talk) 09:34, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
You really expect them to use a fanmade logo for KH3? And leave a mouse cursor in the middle of the ARR logo?
Anyway, that image is a fake, although unless by "more games" in their latest E3 video they meant Mini Ninjas, there's still some unrevealed games in their E3 lineup. We'll know on Tuesday, I guess. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 09:37, June 9, 2013 (UTC)
Well well well, KHIII was announced and KHvsXIII became FFXV, just like the poster. So how does that boot in our mouth taste? Need some salt?
Ixbran (talk) 04:45, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
Like that poster is still fanmade. The logo on KHIII isn't right, nor are the colors on XV. Regardless of whether or not it turned out to be true, the image in question is still fanmade, which was the point being argued. Jimcloud 04:52, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
I'd appreciate it if you'd make sure the foot is in the right mouth, as that image was still a fake, you dummy. The XV logo is the wrong colour, the KH3 logo is completely wrong, and the ARR logo still has a mouse cursor in the middle of it. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 04:53, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

That might be a little something called "Concept", often game companies will make various versions of a logo before it is finalised. This could have possibly been a concept stage, and of course if the picture was sneakily taken, there would be no time to move the mouse cursor out for a perfect picture. 212.219.49.2 09:07, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

That would be a ridiculously last-minute change for two logos. And like I said, the KH one was, quite literally, copied from a fansite. There's no way. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 09:27, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
the image is quite obviously fanmade, but the predictions are right on mark. it could be that someone had insider information and creating this hoax image was their only way of 'saying it' without actually doing so --Arciel Spira (talk) 18:10, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

Final Fantasy XV[]

oh boy.. time for the major renaming... Versus XIII, or should i say XV looks gorgeous on PS4 tho --Arciel Spira (talk) 02:23, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, just give us some time. A lot of us are still watching the stream. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 02:24, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
To hopefully curb edit wars, I've added a note in the intro noting the rebranding. Let's wait a day or two though, for news articles or websites so we can do more for the change than just renaming the article. Drake Clawfang (talk) 02:27, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
I just changed a couple of bits, namely the first word in the first paragraph, and bits of the infobox, but I'll leave the rest to someone else. For example, this needs to be completely moved to a new article called "Final Fantasy XV", and the "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" should now be redirected to that new article.--TheUltimateKoopa (talk) 02:29, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
it seems like the game might have undergone some dev team changes or something. in any case, the trailer now credits a Roberto Ferrari for Character Design, altho I couldn't really find anything on such a person. anyone know? --Arciel Spira (talk) 04:14, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
Roberto Ferrari was the character designer for Moon Diver, Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes, and also worked for Namco and Tatsunoko Productions in the past. He's a talented guy. FF-Suzaku (talk) 06:16, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

PS3[]

Is it on PS3 as well? A friend of mine says he watched the stream and that FFXV is to appear on PS3 and PS4, yet the infrmation I see on the net state that it will be available for PS4.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 12:50, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

No. Final Fantasy XIV was announced as PS3/PS4, while Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III were announced for PS4/Xbox One. http://www.jp.square-enix.com/ff15/ FF-Suzaku (talk) 19:50, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

Female Party Members?[]

Ever since Final Fantasy IV SE has kept a silent tradition that each main installment in the FF series always had at least 3 female party members to join you in battle.

FFIV FFV FFVI FFVII FFVIII

  • Porom

  • Eiko
  • Yuna
  • Lulu
  • Rikku

From what I can see, this game features only Male party members, with no major contributing females at all, aside from Stella. Who is, from what I understand, an enemy. I wonder why they decided to go about breaking the three female party member tradition. Its not like they haven't put girls in action games before. It seems kinda odd to me. Now Im not complaining mind you, its just something I noticed and wanted to point out. What are y'all's thoughts?
Ixbran (talk) 06:40, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

What's even the point of clogging up the talk page with this table? We know a lot of FF games have had 3 female party members, we don't know yet if XV will have any, this is a topic for a forum post. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 06:56, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
XD Sorry, i dont know how, or at least I dont remember, to make a forum on the wiki. so i figured bringing this up here would be the next best place. feel free to move it to a forum if you think that would be best, sorry if i caused any trouble.
Ixbran (talk) 07:00, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
We don't know anything about how the party system in the game works; we have only been shown 3 playable characters so far. There may or may not be further playable characters later in the game that have yet to be revealed, but we don't know yet. Please refrain from making assumptions about a game that is still very far off. -wohdin yes the whole earth 10:03, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Character information plus Release Date.[]

Is any of it true? The article mentions that it releases March 2014. http://www.latestnewsexplorer.com/final-fantasy-xv-characters-detailed/ --184.20.198.180 16:33, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

From what I know they aren't planning to release FFXV during this fiscal year which ends on March 2014 so that information is false.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 16:57, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
The last day of March is often used as a placeholder release date on sites like Amazon because it is the last day of the fiscal year. It's confusing but it's just for their own accounting purposes or whatever. The release date has not been given yet, not even an estimated one.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:04, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Direct X 11[]

Direct X 11 is not a development tool (See reference [8]), it's a Microsoft graphics API for communicating with graphics processors, what they mean when they say they built with Direct X 11 is that they built it for Windows PC for Direct X 11 compliant hardware, notably the PS4 is not capable of running Direct X 11 software as it is specifically a Microsoft API, so they probably meant that they were building for hardware that had Direct X 11 level features.

Character Biographies[]

More detailed character biographies are now up and accessible here and here, Japanese and English-Translated respectively. I am unsure of how to fit or format this info into the character articles so hoping you guys can help or assist. Thanks! :) Kimlasca warrior (talk) 01:08, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

Should the mentions of other characters that have appeared be put back up? (For instance, the white-robed mage from an earlier trailer and then possibly his retcon into the hooded fellow from the E3 2013 trailer. If I remember rightly, the first mage was hooded.) Even without such speculation, mentioning the unnamed characters seen? 222.154.121.154 00:16, September 14, 2013 (UTC) Sanokal

Release Date?[]

March 2014 is completely unsourced and I've never heard of this site. That date's most likely to be complete garbage. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 03:01, September 10, 2013 (UTC)
March 2014 is not from an official source. Last day of March is the end of fiscal year (accounting thing, not relevant to us customers) so some systems, like at Amazon, assign the end of March as a placeholder release date when the real release date is unknown. They may have gotten it from somewhere like that.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 13:09, September 10, 2013 (UTC)

Yo[]

So is it okay for me to put that they delayed the game further?

From what I've heard/seen, KH III and FFXV have both been delayed even further. Halcyoneodexus (talk) 14:33, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

The article mentions no release date, so I'm not sure what you'd change. We'll just add the time of release when Square gives it out. Can't really say it is being delayed if they have not given even a tentative time for release.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:36, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
I meant development. Halcyoneodexus (talk) 12:55, October 21, 2013 (UTC)

Manchester[]

I have no idea if I'm doing this right so my apologies for any innacuracies. I'm not a regular contributor so feel free to delete this or edit it after you read it. I've noticed a lot of sites and forums discussing that there will be an unknown area in the game based on Manchester. I think that what the developers meant by this was that an area is based on Manchester Cathedral. If you look at these photos, its obvious that this room, which has been seen in almost every trailer, is based on the interior of Manchester Cathedral. I searched and couldn't find anyone who'd made this association, so I just wanted to get it out there.

Here's a link to some supporting imagery: http://s30.postimg.org/5cin51r1d/FFXV_Manchester_Cathedral.jpg

Battle system section contradicting itself[]

Specifically: "The battle system of Final Fantasy XV is to draw the nostalgic feeling from old Final Fantasy titles and blend it with a new concept. The action and pace will be similar to what is found in Kingdom Hearts but united with new mechanics. Battles will be seamless and transition will have no load times."

Which is actually the exact opposite of what an older final fantasy game was played like. So part of that statement is wrong, though I'm not sure which part. If anyone does know for sure, it should be changed. FarRealm (talk) 15:28, May 26, 2014 (UTC)

Might have a release date... :)[]

Got an article that states that Final Fantasy XV will be released in March 2015. I will try and find more evidence to back this claim, so yeah.

[18]

No official link to SE and the US release date you grabbed is from a site that has been making bullshit release date claims since E3. Both are fake.
In the future, and this applies to everyone, DO NOT TRY TO SHOW US A RELEASE DATE UNLESS IT'S ON AN OFFICIAL SE WEBSITE, ANY OTHER SOURCE IS PULLING DATES OUT OF THEIR ARSE.
If this sounds like I'm snapping at you TMG, I'm sorry, I just want to make clear to everyone we've been dealing with hoaxes for over 8 years now and are pretty sick of it. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 22:37, August 15, 2014 (UTC)
To be fair to her, I did encourage her to add it to the page. 8 sources site a similar thing, and it's the closest we've got to it being official. That said, it's the closest we have to it being official, not actually being official. I'm mostly just saying I'm the person you should be yelling at.--Magicite-ffvi-ios Technobliterator TC 22:51, August 15, 2014 (UTC)
I'm not actually yelling at anyone, I just needed to make that noticeable. Although I should probably put a warning at the top of the page concerning release dates. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 23:05, August 15, 2014 (UTC)
Actually yeah I think I'll do a warning. If anyone else wants to comment a note onto the page itself, go ahead.
Man that archived FA discussion box is great for making warnings. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 04:39, August 20, 2014 (UTC)

March is the start of a new SE fiscal year, so them having ever mentioned "March 2015" may mean they intend to release FFXV during the next fiscal year that starts in March. Unless there is an actual release date it is probably not worth mentioning, because their plans may yet change.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 13:56, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

Those sites are all minor sites. they probably citing each others about the same hoax. the major video game sites should have reported it by now if it's true. Monterossa (talk) 14:26, August 16, 2014 (UTC)

Is there gonna be english actors?[]

I haven't really seen any info of any english voice actors for FFXV. Maybe with all the changes they did with the game, they haven't really begun with the english voice actors.Dj.Rmx0 (talk) 17:50, September 28, 2014 (UTC)

Playable Characters[]

Scott_coop-1-.gif
in a recent interview i believe they mentioned that they decided to stick with just noct for character control..but it could change. just like how in the most recent interview they reveal that they originally only wanted noct to have magic but will eventually give it to all characters. would be more fun if we could control the other characters tho.. imo.--Arciele Spira (talk) 07:27, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

You can give orders to the other characters but not control them directly.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:05, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

Somnus[]

So, I know this is all speculation but the whole idea that the world of XV (previously verses XIII) is "a fantasy based on reality" and the end of Lightning Returns seemed to end up in our world, so is it too much to jump that XV takes place x years after Lightning Returns? And that the sleeping god seen on the title card is actually the big bad of the XIII universe? Unfortunately if this is the case then we're all doomed since Noctis and his emo gang really don't seem up to the task of felling a god like Light did. AdeusValcross (talk) 09:51, January 29, 2015 (UTC)

It is far too much of a leap, as it has been stated multiple times that the universes of XV, Type-0 and XIII are connected by nothing but the mythos. They don's share characters, story events, planets or anything but their origin story. --Crystal Tear (talk) 09:17, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
Uh oh, that was me by the way, I added my name just now. I actually did know that but I obviously had a huge mind lapse since this game is taking crazy long to come out. But still, sharing the mythos with Etro and such still does not preclude the somnus being Bhuni as he's referred to as the "sleeping god" just as Etro is "goddess of death". I can't wait for the demo in March but I still can't shake off the feeling I will be disappointed by this game. AdeusValcross (talk) 09:51, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
Etro is no longer the goddess of death in LR new world. The new world is supposed to be a world without magic and gods where people can live "normally" like on Earth, but XV has magic at least.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 10:22, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
I thought Yeul replaces Etro at the end of LR? Like Etro before her she has no real influence in the human world but still exists in the new unseen realm. AdeusValcross (talk) 10:31, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
She does replace Etro, at least all but one version of her does. Makes sense, as she's basically Etro's daughter and strongly tied to chaos. --Crystal Tear (talk) 11:00, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
Etro is still in FFXV, but no longer in LR new world (has been replaced by the Yeuls and Caius).Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 11:36, January 29, 2015 (UTC)

Player Survey[]

This is what I wrote in the opinions/comments section during the player survey of Episode Duscae:

"Personally, I feel that the demo was too akin to the Kingdom Hearts series, which in terms of gameplay, is separate from the Final Fantasy series. I enjoyed the demo, but I felt like I played Kingdom Hearts rather than "Final Fantasy", and there wasn't enough RPG elements from the main series that made me feel like I was in the world of the next numbered Final Fantasy game. Action wise, while the controls were easy, the action became too hectic if you weren't fully adapted to the games fast combat system. I prefer it if the real-time elements became something similar to Final Fantasy XII, which was far smoother and less unprepared to enter battles. I look forward to its release, but overall, the main numbered series should be less inspired by Action-RPG's and stay true to the roots of the originals."Vapor Rub (talk) 10:15, April 17, 2015 (UTC)

I agree. I don't care if Nomura wants to make KH games but he shouldn't make a mainline FF play like KH games. Monterossa (talk) 10:47, April 17, 2015 (UTC)

ATR 6.0: Regis and Noctis artwork[]

Regis-and-Child-Noctis

Has it been confirmed that this is King Regis in the artwork like said in the article? I don't think it was said in the ATR and some speculated it could be Noctis' grandfather, though, I also think it is King Regis. --Christian140 (talk) 18:33, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

It's true it hasn't been confirmed. It hasn't been confirmed the boy is Noctis either though. I assumed it showed characters that have already been revealed previously and flashback scenes of young Noctis and the king have been shown in trailers. But perhaps the caption should be revised.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 20:01, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

Fabula Nova Crystallis[]

Hajime Tabata has stated that it is still part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. In fact, he stated that removing the mythos would have removed part of the identity of the world that they had built. What he actually said was that they wouldn't refer to l'Cie and Fal'Cie with those terms in this game, as seen in this interview http://www.finaland.com/?rub=site&page=news&id=5516. It is the terminology that is different, but the game itself is still part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. He never said it wasn't, never said they planned to remove the game from the subseries and that they deliberately decided what they were going to interpret in this game. NemesisSP (talk) 03:31, September 1, 2015 (UTC)

Then how do you explain the statement contained here? I wish someone would put the question about FNC's pretense to Tabata direct and quote him accurately. --Crystal Tear (talk) 07:05, September 1, 2015 (UTC)
I have read it, but since I can't watch the full PAX report, I can't say how legit it is and it could be that he meant something different. That's all I'm saying at this time. NemesisSP (talk) 12:47, September 1, 2015 (UTC)

FNC research results[]

This relates to the section above. I've been doing research across the net for further reliable references or a direct quote from Tabata stating that Final Fantasy XV has indeed been removed from the Fabula Nova Crystallis canon, as this GameSpot article states. I've found no other reference saying anything at all about this (and this GameRanx article appears to be paraphrasing the GameSpot article too accurately for my liking). The information t also directly contradicts Tabata's previous statement in this Finaland interview from this year's Gamescom, and a 2014 interview with Kitase by GameSpot.

Contrary to what many series fans may think, such a change would be highly notable, as Versus XIII/XV has been placed from the beginning as part of FNC, so you would think most major sites would have reported it, and would probably have included it as a direct quote. In addition to these, I must add this very recent article from IGN, which has roughly similar phrasing to the GameSpot article about a lot of changes coming to the game when it changed name and platforms, but doesn't say anything about the mythos being completely dropped, only adjusted for the new game (something confirmed in earlier interviews). I feel this must be settled here until we have some definite confirmation from Tabata/Square Enix on the matter, and a reliable source/interview reporting it. --Crystal Tear (talk) 15:26, September 20, 2015 (UTC)

Reaper-Worship is still present in FFXV[]

It's just not as blatant as it was in Versus XIII; Tabata's phrasing was「に押し出すことができません」, "[the theme] cannot be brought to the forefront". --HajiMori (talk) 03:54, November 20, 2015 (UTC)

We´ll be getting updates twice a week but, do we write every single one of them ?[]

Since the opening of the Official FFXV JP blog, they announced that every Tuesday & Friday we´ll be getting updates regarding either the game dev or something related about their staff. They didn´t clarified if this will continue until the game releases or not. However, this (probably) causes a problem, the dev section would get overflowed if we put every single update (which caused to separated VSXIII & XV into separate pages, hasn´t it?), how do we deal with it?--最強の戦士 Lulcy 00:53, February 24, 2016 (UTC)

The dev section should be its own article (like I think Wikipedia already has it). I was thinking to keep it here until the game is out, but maybe it could be broken off already; we're gonna be getting lots of new info here after the March event after all.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 01:49, February 24, 2016 (UTC)
Is there a problem if I start making the page now? Just to have things ready.--最強の戦士 Lulcy 17:45, February 26, 2016 (UTC)
We can pretty much just copypaste it from here I think, but I don't think we ever decided whether to make it a subpage or not. Personally I would prefer "Development of Final Fantasy XV" as article name and notmake i a subpage, though.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 20:34, February 26, 2016 (UTC)

Well, so much for me thinking what I said about delays, but moving right along...

Final Fantasy XV Verdict[]

So I completed XV on the December 4th. If anyone else has completed it, what did you guys think? I personally think Final Fantasy regained its sense of exploration and freedom, but the overall story was too overhyped. In fact, its the one thing that let me down the most. The anime series and movie didn't feel worth it after experiencing the story. Supporting characters are just there and almost non-existent, and the journey did a complete 180 in tone and felt really empty after completion. I almost didn't want to replay it because of it, but the gameplay and things to do are enjoyable, and I'm almost done with the trophies. Vapor Rub (talk) 14:27, December 8, 2016 (UTC)

FFXV Tagline[]

Is the tagline for FFXV; "This is a fantasy based on reality"? I know they used this tagline for Versus XIII. Are they using the Versus XIII tagline for FFXV? Fenrir9 (talk) 22:58, February 23, 2017 (UTC)

Star Wars References[]

Those 2 were the ones I could think off the top of my head, but there were more. In addition, if you camp at the fishing site near Cape Caum, Prompto will ask for a photoshoot saying "Help my Noct, you're my only hope." There is no denying the Star Wars references from that.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:58, February 24, 2017 (UTC)

Update[]

There was this new Patch 1.08, anyone has been informed what does it add? Nameless King名も無きん者騎き王 (Speaketh) 16:43, April 1, 2017 (UTC)

Patch note says it fixes a bug with using Alterna on Ifrit. Not sure what was the bug. There's a video on someone using Alterna on Ifrit and it just triggers the death animation with Shiva. Is this the bug or is this the fixed version, who knows.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:11, April 1, 2017 (UTC)
Ah, I see! Thank you. Nameless King名も無きん者騎き王 (Speaketh) 17:50, April 1, 2017 (UTC)

Prompto's "race"[]

Since I am unable to do it myself (because when I try i'm getting this message "Your edit includes new external links. To help protect against automated spam, please complete the challenge below" and there is no challenge below...) can someone edit Prompto's race back to "Human"? As far as I understand Prompto was born human and he is human. He was supposed to become MT - he was branded, but somehow he escaped before that happend. Besides, putting MT as a race in profile section is kinda spoilerish... Thanks.

Spoilers in infoboxes are inevitable sometimes, sadly, if we want them to be complete (like Ardyn's "other names" field). I think Prompto is human too though. Doesn't Ardyn say they were all formerly human. Many anon editors seem to have trouble with the spam protection thing. You can bypass it if you create an account.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 12:14, May 1, 2017 (UTC)

Star Wars[]

At first, it was possible it was all a coincidence, but the number of similarities have gotten to the point we can say the game derives many elements from Star Wars. There is even at least one camping site where Prompto asks Noctis for a photoshoot and says "Help me, Noct, you're my only hope!" so is it safe to put a trivia point on it?Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:14, December 6, 2017 (UTC)

Star Wars references are here: Final Fantasy XV allusions. Lots of FF games have Star Wars allusions. The ones most similar to it are often considered to be FFII and FFXII.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 09:39, December 6, 2017 (UTC)

Character Creation[]

The Comrades expansion allows you to create a character, which then appears in Chapter 13 in the main game. Despite this, the avatar is made irrelevant as soon as he/she joins your party, and the ending completely revolves around Noctis. The avatar doesn't fight the final boss, Noctis does! I think it would be an interesting piece of trivia, as FFXV one of the few games ever, in video game history, to have you create an avatar and then doesn't even have him/her take part in the final boss, and completely omits him/her from the ending. Most RPGS, on the other hand, either force the avatar into the party or feature various cutscenes from his/her point of view. Tokoyami no Nietzsche (talk) 10:01, July 20, 2020 (UTC)
