Started the first few status effects.
Planning on incorporating as much per-status detailed information as I can, with detailed technical descriptions, means of curing, tables for ST ATK/DEF junctioning, etc. Some information has been copied from other pages on this wikia and re-written for (hopefully) easier comprehension, but its all a work in progress.
Some cross-reference hotlinks are there, but most of them will be added at a later date. Thank you all for your patience and future contributions.
Does sleeping at a hotel (etc) revive KOed allies?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 08:22, May 15, 2014 (UTC)
Zombie[]
I am unsure how Zombie actually works, so there might be errors on that entry. Does Zombie wear off when a character dies, or will you become unable to revive them until you use a Holy Water/Remedy/etc on them? It think works like that in some game in the series, but unsure was it FFVIII.
Elixir & Megalixir & Full-Cure restore HP and status ailments. If used on a Zombie unit will they be healed of Zombie and HP restored, or will they be killed by the HP restore before they can be cured of Zombie?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 10:16, May 15, 2014 (UTC)
I've slightly edited the entry, everything *should* be correct. Yes, the Elixir, Megalixir items and Full-Cure spell removes the status, as does being K.O.'d then revived. I believe what you've got here is accurate but unfortunately I cannot verify further since my game is too scratched to work :/

May 24, 2014 - Updates[]
Some minor changes, thanks for providing the link to the gamefaqs guide BTW!
Changed the layout and edited information of the current status effects from Death / Sudden Death all the way to Stop, the rest remain unwritten for the time being.
Here is the master list of ST-ATK-J and ST-DEF-J information, if anybody decides to further help the cause. I copy/paste these into their respective sub-sections and just delete the table entries which do not apply to the current state in question.

Means of Removal and Means of Infliction tables have been copied from other sources on the wiki and edited as needed. I'm not providing those in this talk box, but they're out there if you hunt for them.
Lastly, I'm unsure of the duration of Slow, Stop and a couple other statuses. If every member of the group (all heroes or all foes) is inflicted with stop, is that similar to Death or Petrify? Regardless, I'm sure the information is out there, thanks to whomever may be able to verify this information.
With that said, unless somebody beats me to it, I'll attempt to have the rest of this page filled out within the next week or so. Thanks for all help and/or patience.
- These are all good ideas. Stop does not flag a target defeated, i.e. it is not the same as Petrify and Death. How long it lasts is unknown to me though. Fixed length or determined in part by the afflicted's stats?Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 18:45, May 21, 2014 (UTC)
Vit 0[]
This page calls it "Vitality 0". The Meltdown effect calls it "Vit 0". Where is it called "Vitality 0"? JBed (talk) 21:42, October 3, 2019 (UTC)
- Edit: I'm looking at what seems to be the status text in the kernel (via an editor)--they seem to be in amongs other battle messages (and so I can't confirm all these are statuses), but to check later: KO, Poison, Petrify, Darkness, Silence, Berserk, Zombie, Sleep, Haste, Slow, Stop, Regen, Sleep, Haste, Slow, Stop, Regen, Protect, Shell, Reflect, Aura, Curse, Doom, Invincible, Petrifying, Float, Confuse, Double, Triple, Defend, Physical attack ineffective[?], Magic ineffective[?], Back attack[?], Vit 0, Angel Wing, Fly[?], Can't use magic[?].
