:From what i see, what kind of signets you are able obtain in FFD2 is dependent on the save data that you insert into the game, from FFL2. In order words, the data from the Signetpedia of FFL2.... I want to confirm this, because most of the signets I've received so far from the Final Fantasy Dimensions II story line are all fully enhanced.Keekian (talk) 06:47, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Should we add an info bar of side characters? Keekian (talk) 22:21, November 5, 2017 (UTC)

Revision as of 22:21, 5 November 2017

Source for English name? Siliconera isn't good enough because as far as we know they could have just translated it themselves. JBed (talk) 14:24, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

There is no localised name yet. We should probably call it by the romaji name like with FFDimensions Japanese name.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 19:30, November 19, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, and IVtA:TnK and Hikari no 4 Senshi and all the others before it (who all ended up with fairly different names). The site is "ffl_ts". And even if gets the English release I don't think they'd keep it as "Final Fantasy Legends" anyway so I don't even trust the current title will ever apply. JBed (talk) 20:16, November 19, 2014 (UTC)
So it's Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suishou? Monterossa (talk) 20:38, November 19, 2014 (UTC)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be "Toki no Suishō"? I don't understand all the conventions but I think they're the same, but the wiki usually opts for the accented letters. JBed (talk) 20:49, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

Class Colours

LRFFXIII Lumina Render

The temp colours I put up (though not activated for reasons then declared) are Script error: No such module "Color". and Script error: No such module "Color".. Mixing iit up. The colours were from the clock, I just wanted to go for the greeny-blue rather than just the dark blue. JBed (talk) 16:46, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

Is this a multiplayer game ?

I'm looking forward to this game and wait for it to be localized. However, is this really a multiplayer game, like Final Fantasy Tactics S, Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade ? If so then, guess I will be waiting for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, or Mobius Final Fantasy. Does Anybody have a clue? Ffleader1 (talk) 16:30, February 17, 2015 (UTC)

Why don't you just call it a trasnlated title it looks so stupid

Rename?

So it is official, Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suisho will be undergoing a huge upgrade that will "renew" the game and retitle the app to "Final Fantasy Legends II" this coming Thursday in Japan. From what has been said on the official twitter player's will keep their data from Toki no Suisho, equipment, levels, phantom stones, story progress, etc. So I need to ask, how should we treat this? Should we rename this page and all pages associated with it to have the "Legends II" tag line? The game will be transferring the summon stones from Toki no Suisho, so all the data will be the same. Example here. Or treat it as an expansion of sorts similar to how we do to the mmos and make a separate page for it? --Miphares (talk) 09:01, November 9, 2016 (UTC)

Hm curious to see actually. From how the recent updates made it sound, you may be able to access Toki no Suishos story. However with the retitling and new assets coming into the game. I'm not entirely sure how this should be handled. I mean we'll know more when the update goes live Thursday. However, should it be a whole revamping and the title of Toki no Suisho is removed from the game, do we move all the articles tagged with (Toki no Suisho) to (Legends II) instead? --Miphares (talk) 09:40, November 9, 2016 (UTC)

Sideicon and Class name

This game has been out of date with these things since they still use the old old name FFTLNS which should be changed to like FFDII (or something) to signify the newest and soon to be worldwide name, Final Fantasy Dimensions II.——Preceding unsigned comment was added by A FANDOM user (talkcontribs). We've been pretty quick to fix all that in the week since the news broke, but now we've got another issue. See below. Swordzmanp236 (talk) 03:58, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Free to Play versions and the Premium version

So I've been playing the new version of this game pretty hardcore since the release this Wednesday. After playing it for a pretty hefty amount of time, this game is pretty different compared to the original version due to gacha system being removed, the summon upgrading system being revamp, the quest items having rng increase, summons were removed, abilities taught by them are changed, stamina removed, the ability system has been revamped so summons teach abilities like FFVI/IX, story revamps also took place so some enemy encounters and boss encounters are removed, etc. So the game has been changed a pretty decent amount for the premium version of the game. So with all this stuff in mind, should we move this page to Final Fantasy Dimensions II/Free to Play version? Same would need to be applied to the old version of the summon pages and stuff to differentiate them, since plenty of changes happened to a lot of gameplay mechanics or stuff were flat out removed. --Miphares (talk) 02:41, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Sounds like it should be separate if it is that different. This was handled with FFXIV by making the Final Fantasy XIV/Legacy page.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 03:30, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed. But these waters are now muddied a touch, so the question now is how to safely split the freemium version content from what we came away with. Swordzmanp236 (talk) 04:02, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
Wow, i was lucky to click the talk page. Otherwise i would flat out edited the page's contents. I wanted to ask though, should add a page called "Episodes (Dimensions II)"? Since it is out in English now. We should do a split though, it's kind of a mess now.. Keekian (talk) 04:24, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

I do agree this can be handled similar to FFXIV 1.0 and the XIV ARR pages, either we used "/Original" or do Xeno's idea and keep it under Legends II and have Dimensions II be referring the the new version called "Final Fantasy Legends II: The Crystal of Space and Time" in Japanese now. If I'm misunderstanding you Xeno, my bad. >_>

Considering nothing aside this page has been touched I would personally go with having everything from the original version moved to either the "/Original" option or using (Legends II) tag using Xeno's idea. Seems every page from Legends II's original gacha based poopoo version has no been touched outside of here, so it should be an easy thing. However, using the (Legends II) tag can be a bit confusing in the ability and summon pages.

Also as to the Episode pages that can possibly be an article which can spawn into separate pages for each character episodes. However, that can be handled by someone who wishes to do so. --Miphares (talk) 05:10, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

Ah okay, so I was right on that. Yes I believe that would be a good idea also and possibly refer to game and link to the Legends II page in the opening paragraph of the Dimensions II page as "The game is a premium version of the free-to-play game Final Fantasy Legends II, which was released in 2015." imo. I just have trouble figuring out how to make it fit in for the individual ability and summon pages. I'm for either or, but I think we just need to find a general agreement on what should be done though. --Miphares (talk) 06:31, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
