We gonna put in a stat template and give strategy or what? Crazyswordsman 23:48, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Stats comin' right up! You have problem? --Auron Kaizer 23:57, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
No. I don't have problem. I want more Yummie Yummies! Crazyswordsman 00:05, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Maybe the toughest boss?[]

WTF. This thing is extremely easy, so why does it say that this might be the toughest boss. Its attacks are fairly strong, but it falls easily.

AI info[]

The page has some misleading or outright incorrect statements, so here's an accurate description of how Evrae's AI functions:

Prior to Haste being used for the first time

  • Up close: Attack -> Attack -> Inhale -> Poison Breath -> repeat
  • Distant: Failed Poison Breath (only if already inhaled) -> Photon Spray -> repeat
  • Counterattacks:
    • Counters with Haste if reduced below 10,667 HP
    • Counters with Haste if hit by Delay Buster
    • Counters with Haste if hit by Delay Attack three times (doesn't have to be in a row)
  • Stone Gaze counter:
    • Increased by 1 when hit by an attack that uses the Magical formula or a variation thereof
    • Increased by 2 when hit by an attack that uses the Physical formula or a variation thereof
    • If the counter has reached 6, then Stone Gaze will replace the next "Attack"
    • Reset to 0 when Stone Gaze is used

Once Haste has been used for the first time

  • Up close: Attack -> Attack -> Inhale -> Poison Breath -> repeat (NOTE: I have heard very frequently that at this point he only uses Attack *once* in the cycle, but the UCG says otherwise. I'll have to test this.) Note that he continues this from wherever he was previously up to prior to Haste.
  • Distant: Swooping Scythe (which brings him to close range again)
  • Counterattacks:
    • When at a distance, counters everything with Swooping Scythe, bringing him back to close range
    • When up close and under Slow (even if it was inflicted by a previous attack rather than the current one), counters everything with Haste - note he must be under Slow, merely not being under Haste will not trigger it
  • Stone Gaze counter:
    • Is never increased
    • If the counter has reached 6 prior to using Haste, he'll still replace the next Attack with Stone Gaze
    • Likewise, using that Stone Gaze will still reset the counter to 0

To point out one error on the page that this info clears up; he NEVER uses Haste on his turns. Only as a counterattack.
