FFXII[edit source]

There are Espers in FFXII aswell. Surely they should be on this page. Crucifer 7/7/2007

I have some ideas for cleaning up the [[Template:FFVI Esper|FFVI Esper template]]; with Hecko's permission, I'd like to start playing around with it.

Colors[edit source]

Should I add the new color scheme to the templates?

The Hope of More[edit source]

This is my favorite FF game by far, and im completely obsessed with magic in fantasy. So the ending of it made me sad. But playing through again recently, I noticed a solution: There was at least one esper that, after being utterly destroyed was able to reform, and stronger than before. That was Phoenix.

Since its so depressing of an ending, i think this one event could be extrapolated into the needed magic system of any sequel. This is of course, just my personal point of view of the events, and was basically wondering what others thought, or if anyone had other ingame information to justify a return of magic?

This also has practical purposes: Ive beaten this game once. Oh, sure, Ive played so many times, maxed out characters, etc etc...But I dont want it to end, so I just start a new game. 23:57, June 4, 2011 (UTC)

Imperial Raid[edit source]

Much like the claim that Terra is 18, I do not believe that the attack happened 16 years ago and would much like to see some official word from the developers on this. The GBA remake, which many seem to think is more accurate, states that it happened about 20 years ago - which would also make Terra 22 by extension.-- 02:15, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Splitting this article[edit source]

Don't mind splitting Magicite, the other two things can remain here. You're right about Summon not being a command, but Summon abilities going on the same page as lore is essentially policy. We could put ability info in Magic but... I'm not fully convinced we should (though I'm not fully convinced we shouldn't). JBed (talk) 11:35, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Keep the summon info and lore together on one page, yes to splitting Magicite as a separate article. --Drake Clawfang (talk) 16:16, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
Moved the info to its own page, but I still kind of think that the summon attack info should go on the Magic (FFVI Command) page because it's used by the same command and is the same kind of ability. That said, summons are very different to other magic because they're only used by one esper at a time, though, so it's not too bad, I guess.--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 17:33, January 7, 2015 (UTC)
