Why isn't this just at Enuo (Boss)? There's no other Boss Enuo as far as I can tell, and that's our usual style. Dazuro 09:17, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

FFVI Enuo counts as an enemy, and I think that means we keep it as it is. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. --Shiruba Kurono

Yep. You're absolutely right. The "Final Fantasy V" bit is to distinguish this from the Final Fantasy VI enemy, and the "Boss" bit is to distinguish this from the character page. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 10:30, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't we? I believe it was ILHI that said "consistency is our version of notability," i.e. very important. And we strive to be consistent in everything except tags, it seems. I guess (Final Fantasy V Boss) and the like would be the best option, since some subjects are in multiple games as different things. Expanding it only as far as necessary makes things inconsistent. Well I just got done a big edit so I'm not up to another right yet, and we may need an Admin to delete/move some of the pages if redirects are involved. Tell ya what, you find and list here any other inconsistencies like this and I'll handle them tomorrow. Fantastic. I'm a bit slower than others at "gnoming" as I believe they call it, but I'll do what I can. What of enemies? It'd be a bitchload of work to fix all the relinks, like, an insane amount compared to just about anything else, but it would make things a lot clearer (multiple times I've come across the wrong version of an enemy because I had a slight spelling change or because one was tagged and another was untagged)... I don't want to just wander in here and overhaul everything, but at the same time, our organization is a bit awful at times. Dazuro 19:43, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Any that are in multiple games. At the very least, ones with slight spelling variations should have interlinks at the top, if not an outright disambig. For instance, Archeaevis and Archaeoaevis. We have a parent page/disambig for Epiolnis/Epiornis/Aepyornis, but other cases are just left with several pages with slight transliteration differences, and no indication which one is from which game. A system of redirects could fix that, or at least have a "for the FF9 version see this" for them all. Dazuro 19:48, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

In the interest of completion, I'd also like to note ones that are linked in Japanese but not English, because we do have people playing rom patches with other names (such as the RPGE translation, which we cover) as well as because some people find it an interesting curiosity. Problem there is that there are several that are linked to different enemy types in different games--it'll be a unique sprite in 3, but a Behemoth recolor in 8... that kind of thing. But I think it's doable, and would definitely be an interesting addition. But that's getting ahead of ourselves a bit. Dazuro 19:50, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
