March 7th stream[]
So, today was revealed that the next Tuesday, March 7th, Square Enix will host another stream that will focus on this game. So, as expected, this month addition with the game will be a character. Anyone wanna bet?
I think it will be Yuna, after all there is this pattern in the announcement of characters that Square followed up until now and it's: Newcomer -> Returning Villain -> Returning Villain -> Returning Hero. This can be confirmed by the order of the updates since February 2016: Ramza (Newcomer) -> Garland (R. Villain) -> Kefka (R. Villain) -> Kain (R. Hero) -> Ace (Newcomer) -> Sephiroth (R. Villain) -> Kuja (R. Villain).
Also, there may be another proof that could confirm Yuna's addition this time: within the last pattern there is another pattern. Each character in one loop of the pattern are typed differently according with their abilities. For example: Ramza (Unique type), Garland (Heavy type), Kefka (Shoot type) and Kain (Speed type). In the current loop we have Ace as a Shoot type, Sephiroth as a Heavy type and Kuja as a Speed type; so to maintain the balance the next character is Unique-typed. There are 4 returning heroes left: Tifa, Laguna, Prishe and Yuna. Tifa and Laguna are obviously Heavy and Shoot-type characters respectively, and my intuition tells me that Prishe will be Speed-type (maybe a mix of Speed and Heavy, like Ace and Kuja who are Shoot&Speed/Speed&Shoot combinations); so yeah, Yuna.
I'd like to hear (or read, in this case) your opinions and who you'll think it would be the character added. Thank you in advance! --OneEco (talk) 23:46, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
- I know that it is stupid for you. But i want Machina can join Dissidia desperately. Seriously, he has lack of other appearances like other Class Zero, even Ace and Rem. It made me hate Dissidia (especially Opera Omnia, because there is no Machina. He is a great man even though he has many flaws and spoilers that made everyone hates him until now. But has unique abilities and weapons. What the heck is SE thinking? Are they hating him too so to didn't appear Machina in other spin of FF crossover?
Is it wrong if i hope Machina Kunagiri can join Dissidia even not on March 7th? But if he is in, i will very happy so much.
Sorry for my rant. --Ephaporia (talk)
Brand new villain character in the Dissidia games[]
In today's tournament anything major was revealed, HOWEVER, we got the silhouette of the next character (villain) that will be added to the game:

My question is, who is he/she/it?
That's all for now! (the next stream will be on my birthday, I'm so hyped!) --OneEco (talk) 16:07, July 16, 2017 (UTC)
- That's just the past villains from the original. At the top you can see CoD's hair, the hand on the right is Golbez, pretty sure you can see Ultimecia's hair/horn and Jecht's sword in there too. Still, the middle might show something new, but these look like cut-and-pastes of the original artworks, so I don't expect much excitement until NT's actually released Primarch Dysley (talk) 17:21, July 16, 2017 (UTC)

Revamping this page?[]
I was thinking about revamping this page "a la Opera Omnia style". Any objections? - Eco (talk) 20:41, March 24, 2019 (UTC)
