Summon template?

I'll support it if it's made a center template and not a side template and if the pictures are removed. See Template:Jobs for the model. Navigation templates shouldn't be a side template, only infoboxes should. Crazyswordsman 05:30, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

		A friend of mine with an FFXI account made it so that Diablos shows up in his house instead of a moogle. The only thing is, he still says all of the same stuff a moogle would say. It's pretty funny to imagine what it must sound like hearing that big, hulking demon saying, "Kupo-po-po-po!" Just saying. ^_^

Diabolos vs. Diablos

		Should we change the name to Diabolos now, considering that all recent occurrences have been with the name "Diabolos" as opposed to "Diablos"? In the same way that "Blizzard" is the present term for what used to be "Ice", should we now agree that Diabolos is now mainstream as opposed to Diablos?

		Never noticed that. Since "Diablos" sounds closer to the proper "Diablo", I oppose it. "Diabolos" just sounds idiotic.

This dude's first appearance was in 1999 in Final Fantasy VIII, under Diablos. Every appearance of his after that year has called him Diabolos, correct? Move to "Diabolos (Summon)"?  ILHI ^{15:24, 20 September 2008 (UTC)}

		I meant confirm its in-game spelling. The page may say it, but the page also switches between Diablos/Diabolos at intervals. The page may contain errors since they're written by humans.

To confirm it I'd have to look over other human's spellings on the internet. Or get out the games, and look in game. Which was also created by humans.

FFVI Advance - went to GameFAQs... all of star and circle FAQs say "Diabolos" but one. Maybe it's because that person's stupid.

FFVIII - I'm not going to forget, it was definitely Diablos.

FFXI - The Summoner guide uses Diablos all but once, where it uses "Diabolos". The top FAQ does not use "Diablos", only "Diabolos". The second one uses "Diablos" once in the article and no instances of Diabolos. The third one mentions none. Earlier I google searched "Diabolos" and got loads of FFXI images of him. Though that doesn't help much.

FFXIIRW - Four of Five FAQs use Diabolos. The other only uses Diablos.

So, I can only really confirm myself it is Diablos in the EU English version of FFVIII.  ILHI ^{16:05, 20 September 2008 (UTC)}

		Went through a check myself, since I could really do without the sarcasm... FFVI - Diabolos, confirmed through game and player video. FFVIII - confirmed Diablos through game and video. FFXI - fan recorded video. FFXIIRW - fan recorded video. Move to Diabolos.

FF13 appearance??

Just an odd note. In an eidolon show at Nautilus Ifrit changes into another eidolon. Many sources claim this to be Diabolos. I was wondering that if anyone can verify this so as to possibly add it to the Diabolos Page. Here is a picture of the Eidolon

		I actually brought this up on Talk:Eidolon (Final Fantasy XIII), suggesting it may be either Diabolos or Deathguise, but was assured that it was Ragnarok. I can't say I'm wholly convinced though, the only thing that suggests Ragnarok is Vanille's brief flashback during the show, it actually looks nothing like any Ragnarok images we have on site.

Thats my point - i was lead to believe it was ragnarok until i saw it myself. As I said tho - there are quite a few people saying this is Diabolos so i decided to suggest it

It's definitely not Ragnarok, or at least, it's Cocoon's caricature of the real thing. I'd wait until the English version comes out, unless the Eidolon is specifically named. 8bit 21:33, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

Indeed. The game itself describes it as Cocoon's rendition of Ragnarok. Of course, they could never know how it looks for sure, since all Ragnarok ever did was crack Cocoon's shell. - Henryacores^ 10:26, May 5, 2010 (UTC)

Diablos's level in ff8

On this page it says Diablos's stats increase for every step you take after receiving the Magic Lamp. The enemy page says Dialos's level is based on the current party's average level.
