Darksteel Equipment[]

		I don't know anything about XI, but perhaps a XI-specialist can confirm whether or not the Darksteel equipment deserve to be on this page or not. Do they deal with the Dark-element or with Blind at all? Otherwise, they probably should be nixed (even though having all of those images on this page is so nice...).

Clean-up[]

As I continue my crusade against our many "well they're somewhat similar so why not" list pages, let's chat about this one. Associations are a bit more lax since Dark means two things and is likely not going to be translated the same way as a standalone word in every game. Yes. There's way too many "random items that have nothing to do with each other but have the same name so let's slap them on the same page!11!!!" pages on this wiki. C A T U S E 05:42, January 23, 2013 (UTC)

Yup, and some don't even really have that connection, like Oblivion and Pummel which were lists of only vaguely similar abilities that happened to share English names with different original Japanese names. Though on the other hand Vacuum Wave has the same Japanese in all its appearances, and they just can't decide on one English translation for it. Doreiku Kuroofangu 05:48, January 23, 2013 (UTC)

Agree with to others, but pages like these should be like the Sword article, a list of equipment with links that leads to the game's equipment article list where the details information is located. Kind of like a index page. Numerous weapons could have their own articles, such as the Dragon Claw and Rune Staff just to name a few on the top of my head. ^This. It would give notable weapons their own pages and Icebrand, Dark Bow and Flametongue would cease to be glorified exceptions. The Dragon Whisker and Dragon Claw are very notable weapons. - Henry acores ^ 18:21, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
