I'm no Japanese expert but I think that 血祭? and 血祭り? will have slightly different romaji than just a common Chimatsuri. I presume that one exclusively applies to Yuffie's "Bloodfest" and the other exclusively to Seifer's "Bloodfest". In that case each of the Bloodfests should get their own article because of Article Creation Policy's following line: "A recurring ability associated with a specific character/entity in 3 appearances (such as Army of One, Big Bang (ability))." Yuffie's version appear in FFVII and FFATB, that's for sure; for FFTCG, I'm not sure, someone would need to confirm if Yuffie's version appears. Seifer's Bloodfest appears in FFVIII, FFAB, and FFRK which is enough, although FFTCG might also apply, but once again, some would need to confirm it.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 00:12, June 3, 2015 (UTC)
I already confirmed Yuffie's long ago. I just don't remember which version of hers it's on (it's on a promo but which one, I don't know). He doesn't have it in TCG afaik. I had originally thought of splitting it into Bloodfest (Final Fantasy VII) and Bloodfest (Final Fantasy VIII), but since they had the same romaji I didn't despite the Japanese and literal translation. If you feel they should be split, go for it. | |||
Same Romaji. "り" is hiragana and means "ri". The kanji "祭" can be read as "matsu" and "matsuri", so they end up equating to the same thing. "祭" and "祭り" mean festival. JBed (talk) 04:07, June 3, 2015 (UTC)
