No seperate bestiaries for seperate versions? The Advance bestiary differs greatly from the DS version. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 17:33, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

This page has WAY too much white space. If it's removed, then it could perfectly feature both Bestiaries well. - Henryacores^ 17:41, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Problem solved, on to the next: BAD COUNTINGS. Someone with the game please take care of that. - Henryacores^ 17:48, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Magic Dragon? Edit

What is the Magic Dragon, and why is it the only entry in this list to not have a link? If its dummied it should state that. I honestly have no idea, but ive never encountered something with that name, in any version. 96.28.157.126 02:40, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

Then you're obviously not playing the PSP/GBA version. Magic Dragon is exclusive to them, and the link is dead because it was renamed Fiend Dragon in the PSP version, but when the page was moved to that name the link here wasn't fixed. Doreiku Kuroofangu 02:45, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

PSP version Edit

Are there plans to include a 3rd list, that being the PSP version's list to this page? because its bestiary is also different from the former 2, with it mainly having separate entries for scripted enemies.. but that also screws with the numbering. As the latest release, it also has the most current version names for monsters. Are individual enemy pages to be renamed accordingly?

Also, for some strange reason this Bestiary page is ridiculously hard to jump to if you don't search for bestiary to begin with lol. It probably should be added to the FF4 table under archives, especially when it's notably different from a pure Enemy List.--Spira 05:50, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Are there plans? Absolutely - as soon as someone can be bothered to do it. As for renaming, yes, we use the most recent names so if enemies have different names in the PSP version their pages will be moved. Doreiku Kuroofangu 06:09, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
We should create a new article for just the Complete Collections's bestiary, and mains it on here and TAY's bestiary. I believe the bestiary of the two games is merged into one in CC. If not, ignore me. 79.69.194.3 16:06, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
heh.. its actually not.. which is kind of an annoying thing. FF4 gets a bestiary, Interlude gets one too, and then TAY gets one. There are 3 bestiaries in CC. Its such a pain getting entries for TAY tho, cos you can never be too sure you will see the monsters again...--Spira 18:34, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, okay then. 79.69.194.3 18:48, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Name Conflict Edit

GBA Specter is PSP Apparition. Since their respective bestiaries are currently marked together, and as the Magic/Fiend Dragon thing above indicates several enemies appear to have name changes between the two versions, how we wanna handle this? Doreiku Kuroofangu 18:35, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

If there are significant differences, it's probably for the best to split the PSP bestiary off into its own section. If it's only a few, the differences could probably just be marked down in that section. Jimcloud 18:42, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

PSP still needs its own section, I'll do it. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 23:35, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

Since when have our bestiary pages ever cared about name changes? Since when have any of our articles ever cared about name changes bar the enemy[/whatever] in question's article itself? PS VI had a bestiary and that's not covered anywhere. 79.69.199.133 23:53, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

Eh, you're right, it just isn't done. I recollected wrong, I thought FFI's bestiary acknowledged Origins and which enemies were available in the Origin's bestiary before I created Collections but apparently not. So it's just "not being done" as opposed to "we don't do it". 79.69.199.133 00:00, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

It's not about the name changes, the numbering is different. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 00:28, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

Oh okay, that's definitely reason then. 79.69.199.133 00:29, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
