From what I've managed to unlock so far, the levels match up tp what you added.

Battlegen Level[edit source]

Actually, recommended levels only affect the probability of Battlegen. You can still battlegen an accessory even if the opponent's level is lower than the recommended level. It's just that the probability is very low (around 0.1%) if your opponent's level is lower than what's recommended. For example, I've just battlegenned a Reflex Orb from a level 30 Exdeath. Anyway, good luck putting that into words... Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 23:55, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, ok. Thanks for that Jeppo, it'll be fixed in a sec. Doreiku Kuroofangu 23:56, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Opponent AI also boosts battlegen rate. I've only tried this on lvl 100 foes for Orb farming so I don't know how it works, but I do know the chance is bigger on an enemy with maximum difficulty than on a very easy foe. - Henryacores^ 13:38, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

012's delayed battlegens[edit source]

Okay, so until I got them unlocked, I was bugged that Prishe, Gilgamesh, and four of the stages (Pandemonium Top Floor, Crystal Tower, M.S. Prima Vista, and Phantom Train) didn't seem to have battlegen accessories. Same with Chaos and Feral Chaos, but that didn't bother me as much as the rest.

However, I managed to unlock them, and am unsure whether to add how it's done onto the page itself. I'll put it here, just in case.

Chaos (Discord's Desire, Discord's Dream, Discord's Hopes): Reach Floor 3 of Brink of Discord in Main Scenario 013 Epilogue. Pandemonium Top Floor (Palamecian Gem), Crystal Tower (Xande's Hatred), M.S. Prima Vista (Mallet), and Phantom Train (Ghost): Complete Main Scenario 013 Epilogue. Feral Chaos (Utter Chaos' Desire/Dream/Hopes): Defeat the Level 95 Feral Chaos and clear the South Lufenia Gateway in Main Scenario 000. Prishe (Horror's Desire/Dream/Hopes): Complete the events in the report unlocked by clearing the Chasm in the Rotting Land, Main Scenario 000 (Report: Dissidia -02-, Event: The Maiden Bringer of Light -2-) Involves fighting a Lv. 50 Garland with Prishe. Gilgamesh (Giant's Desire/Dream/Hopes): Complete the events in the report unlocked after clearing the South Lufenia Gateway in Main Scenario 000 (Report: Dissidia -03-, Event: The Duel of Dreams!) Involves fighting a Lv. 50 Bartz with Gilgamesh.

Hopefully this can clear things up somewhat for those yet to get that far. Chocobo Jockey 20:28, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

I am forced to object to those conditions : I have beaten the Main Scenario 000 and still do not have the Utter Chaos' Hopes unlocked in the Battlegen menu… nor is it available when I battle Feral Chaos. There must be somethin else to factor in. Alarielle 17:58, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
Well, you can't get any character's Hopes item until you have Battlegenerated their Dreams item, which in turn requires you to have Battlegenerated the Desire item. The Desire one should have been unlocked when you beat the Lv95 F. Chaos -- Sorceror Nobody Flan.PNG 21:02, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I had assumed that was more-or-less common knowledge, that you had to 'gen Desire first, then Dream, then Hopes. Minor mistake on my wording, there. Chocobo Jockey 22:14, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

If its not there[edit source]

can you still get the accessories in dissidia 012, in pandeamonium top floor, phantom train, crystal tower. etc. even if its not listed in the battlegen list before you fight an opponent? FF9 09:28, April 19, 2011 (UTC)

Missing Battlegens?[edit source]

Much like the person above, I can't battlegen certain items that shouldn't be a problem. My issue is with Gilgamesh. I've fought him plenty of times but his Giant accesories don't even appear in the pre-battle battlegen list. It doesn't appear in the checklist of battlegens either, so I'm permanantly stuck at 97%. Has anyone had similiar problems, am I simply being stupid about something, and if this is a common problem should we make a note of it in the article? 21:47, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

You likely haven't seen Report 19 yet, Gilgamesh can't be Battlegen'd from until you complete it. This is already noted in the article, the footnote (asterisk). Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:07, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
Ah. So the answer to my question would be "I'm just stupid." Can't help but wonder why those characters and stages have such an odd detail. Thank you all the same though.

Battlegen resulting in equipment?[edit source]

I've had instances in 012 where I've received a Hairpin and Mythril Helm after fighting characters with them equipped in Quick Battle 1-on-1. Can anyone explain this to me or how to raise the rate at which it happens?

Enemies can drop equipment, or components of it; this is a completely separate event from Battlegen. I think that, like Battlegen, high LUK improves the odds, but the probabilities can be increased with Drop Rate Up bonuses from accessories, the PP Catalog and a random Bonus Day effect -- Sorceror Nobody Flan.PNG 22:49, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Level Battlegen?[edit source]

I saw in a battlegen against a friend card I had a symbol for Lv. Do I have to level up mid fight to gen it or is it trying to tell me something else? -Zero

Assuming this is in D012, I believe that's a glitch, it should be the EX Burst icon. Battlegen will still work normally in-battle. Doreiku Kuroofangu 18:47, December 29, 2011 (UTC)
It is D012. I'll give it a try and see if it works. 17:50, December 30, 2011 (UTC)
