8bit BlackMage - Beyond the Sky TALK - Why do chemists call helium, curium, and barium 'the medical elements'? Because, if you can't 'helium' or 'curium', you... um... ._.; - {{{time}}}
While I would be inclined to say White Magic, I cannot say for sure what color magic Astra falls into. It is not usable by any "colored" mage, only "colorless" classes, such as Templar and Scholar. I have just left it as a status effect for now.
We go for in-game. Astra is known as an Alchemist Skill and a Templar Tech. It's both a Status effect and an Ability.
I believe it's just a colorless magic too, no other magic-classes have the ability. And Astra can be produced by other abilities, such as Moogle Shield, so I'd say it's colorless magic.
