Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!

Question...Do you have to be in Ranger from to get the Latter half of the animal tree? I love the half that i have immediate access to, but I'd like to see wild boar ram a few big guys for me every now and then... And this skill is probably one of the most over powered albeit basic skills in game. Lets see Red Dragon kill you after you get Nightingale twice in a row!!! --Gerdat14 04:05, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Skillset page[]

This is supposed to be skillset page because of the FFV actual name, yes? So shouldn't everything on here that isn't a skillset be completely removed? We can't have opinionated "this concerns animals, this doesn't" wars if the arguing is about individual abilities. Just remove all the individual abilities that aren't within a skillset labeled as "Animals". 8bit 22:50, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

The new move of the wiki is to be lenient. We've been making the job articles cover more ground, merging summon and enemy pages to make [[Bomb (Race)|race]] pages. Chef's Knife works fine being an item and ability article.
That really didn't have much to do with anything. But if something works similiarly, I think it deserves a mention. It's like for further reading. "You're looking for an ability in one game, but did you know there's something very similar in another?"  ILHI 22:57, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Animals isn't an ability, though, it's a skillset. You can't compare Black Magic as a whole to "Electrocute (Ability)". Also, the sheer flexibility of "Animals" makes things too lenient: are we going to put every single appearance of an animal-related singular ability on this V-exlusive skillset page? I dislike. 8bit 23:01, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Exactly, 8Bit. You could argue that Rinoa's usage of Angelo counts, but I snapped when I saw Tifa here with "Dolphin Kick". Just because an attack incorporates an animal in its animation doesn't make it an Animals command. Drake Clawfang 23:03, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, if this is solely for the FF5 ability then, we're gonna need a pretty table and shiny images. Drake Clawfang 23:08, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

Well, images should already be covered as I should have uploaded some a couple months ago at the very least ^^;; Xenomic 23:18, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
I still think VIII should be mentioned. It's exactly the same: but it's only Angelo, and they aren't selectable commands. It's still a skillset of sorts. But meh. :/  ILHI 12:04, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
