FFXII:TZA[]

Considering that even in JP it has a different name doesn't it make it a new item altogether? Shouldn't "Prince's Kiss" redirect to FFXII item page? Also, considering it's name it is a likely reference to the Sleeping Beauty fairytale where prince's kiss wakes the princess up and alarm clock is not exactly... let's call it a "phenomenon" like a "prince's kiss" is.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 12:30, July 12, 2017 (UTC)

When it comes to items, if they changed the name within the same game but it still serves the same functional purpose then I'd still consider it the same thing, just with two Japanese names. Unless the Alarm Clock and Prince's Kiss ever coincide (in a non-crossover FF) game there's not much reason to treat them separately.
Or if Prince's Kiss had more non-XII related appearances then maybe treat them separately. But as the thing the Alarm Clock became, it would still have equal presence on this page anyway. JBed (talk) 13:44, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
Sounds like they just renamed Alarm Clock. I assume it has the same animation as using an Alarm Clock did in FFXII, because they didn't add anything new visually when they made ZJS. I guess they wanted items to have names that make it obvious what they do, but alarm clocks are too modern for FFXII's world where all mechanical stuff is powered by magicite rather than electricity.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:27, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
