Veteran (Final Fantasy IV)[edit source]
I'm not sure if there is such a creature or not, but even if there is this page just looks poorly done. If this is this user's first edit then I suggest they look at the Help pages. If this can't be professionally cleaned up (the picture and indents look like they could use some work) then I would say a deletion is in order.
Just because the page looks bad now doesn't mean it should just be deleted. If the Ahriman/Veteran truly isn't in FFIV, then yes it should be deleted, but if it is, we can clean this up. It's not like it's impossible to fix a bad page. Now, I haven't played FFIV, so I don't know anything about either of these enemies. Anyone who does?
EDIT CONFLICT: Don't be so hasty, just put an Expand Template and categorize this. Just because the article is ugly, doesn't make it irrelevent. And no I don't know anything about Ariman or FFVI, I could never beat that game.
There already is a monster like this FloatEye
They seem to be plallet swaps but I don't know if this article is just a needless duplication. I'm not making any sudden movements until I know what I'm jumping into.
I think its more of a copy of Fatal Eye. They share the same sprite, location, and HP so this must be a copy. I believe that this is just a duplication.
I don't remember this monster from the SNES or GBA versions. It might've been in the PS version, but I doubt it.
I've just checked it's from both and the PS version.see here
My mistake. Sorry everyone.
No Drake, you were right to put this article up for deletion. If Azul's thing is correct than its just the same monster with two names. Last time I checked we still use the old names, so this article has no right to exist. This is a definite deletion. I just wish that I could do it myself. Damn my pathetic lack of power!!
I have no power at all, either. We should fill up on viriuses and demand that we be made Admins (or at least be granted Roll Back) or let the wiki die a slow and painful death. MWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :] Just kidding. And BH, when did you sign up for this wiki, anyway. I've been here since July, but I can't remember you being there back then.
EDIT CONFLICT >_<:Do we know for sure that this is just a different name for one of the original FFIV enemies? If so, this needs to be made into a redirect, not deleted.
Yeah, I just took a look at the page Azul linked to. It clarifies that it is a new name for an old monster. Take a look.
Except that Veteran isn't listed on there anywhere, so no, it doesn't clarify that. You guys are confusing the images with the article itself. Are we sure that website Azul linked to is complete? If it's not, then it's useless to this discussion. If it is, then that proves that there's not a Veteran in FFIV and this article can be deleted.
The guy even wrote "This is the Anthology name for [I can't remember] or Fatal Eye." This backs up the diffrent names, one monster thing. And isn't Anthology the V and VI Playstation package? I thought Chronicles was the one with IV and [[Chrono Trigger]].
Maybe this is better?
Well I just did the redirect anyway. It can still be deleted so no worries. To Drake 1 - I've been here since August 20.
Ooops my bad. It is chronicles.Oh and look at the stats of veteran and the CoN stats. Identical.
Edit Conflict 2x. Yes, it's complete, you gave me a link to the same site when I first came here back in July and I was doin Final Fantasy IV Monsters. And it does say Veteran there, take a closer look.
Well, everything seems to be sorted now. And for the record, the FIRST website Azul linked to (see how the second one is linked to AFTER I made my last comment? -_-) doesn't say Veteran. So there. :P
