Syu Befrathi was the daughter of a Mithra sinner who took the Bow of Light from the Sin Hunters with the intention to return it to its land of origin. To protect Syu from being hunted, Perih Vashai exchanged her twinstone earring, a bauble which distinguishes Mithran mother-daughter pairs, with the one of her daughter Semih Lafihna and raised her while she left her daughter at the Heaven's Tower.
Once she grew up, Perih tasked her with hiding the Bow of Light and finish the mission of her mother. Not only she accomplished the task, Syu Befrathi also succeed to separate the magicite from the bow. She ended crossing paths with Semih Lafihna when she was looking for the Bow of Light, as she was accused of being a sinner by the Sin Hunters. Syu explained the truth to the captain of the Sibyl Guard and handed her the now harmless bow, so that she could give it back to the Sin Hunters.
