Sylphine is an enemy in the World of Final Fantasy series, first appearing in World of Final Fantasy: Meli-Melo. She can be fought and imprismed in the Maxima version of World of Final Fantasy.
Sylphine can only be encountered in the final bonus dungeon, the Hidden Dungeon, specifically in the wind route. She can be found in both the Dragon Scars and Crystal Tower rooms.

Etymology[]
Sylph (also called sylphid) is a mythological creature in the Western tradition. The term originates in Paracelsus, who describes sylphs as invisible beings of the air. There is no known substantial mythos associated with them.
