Description
Sylkis Greens are an item in Final Fantasy VII that is used for catching wild Chocobos and can heal a target for 100 HP. They are the best stat-boosting green when fed to stabled Chocobos, and enable also enable wild Chocobos to use the Chocobuckle E.Skill. Sylkis Greens are the most expensive green.
Since their debut in Final Fantasy VII, Sylkis Greens have become a recurring ultimate tier chocobo greens in the series.

The player can make more Sylkis Greens with the W-Item duplication bug to offset the cost, though players tend to be awash with gil in the endgame when the Chocobo quest becomes available. Because Sylkis Greens are thus replicable, the player can use them for gil farming by duplicating them with W-Item and then selling them for 2500 gil apiece.

Sylkis Greens are used to occupy a wild Chocobo for one turn in battle and enable it to use Chocobuckle so the player can learn it on the Enemy Skill Materia. Chocobuckle is learned through enemy Chocobos that appear on the tracks in the vicinity of the Chocobo Farm or Mideel. Encountering a Chocobo on the world map requires the Chocobo Lure. The player must find a Chocobo whose level is a multiple of 4, such as the level 16 Chocobo found on the footprints near the Chocobo Farm–and give it some Mimett or Sylkis Greens. The character with the Enemy Skill Materia equipped must cast L4 Suicide (can be learned from the Mus in the Grasslands Area). After being hit by the spell, the Chocobo will cast Chocobuckle in retaliation and flee. If a party member activates their Cover Materia, neither the target nor the Cover-user will learn Chocobuckle despite the text displaying that the skill was learned.
Mimett Greens have the same effect on wild Chocobos and are much cheaper, so the best use of Sylkis Greens is to feed them to stabled Chocobos for stat boosts for racing and breeding. Sylkis Greens give the best stat boosts overall, though Pahsana may give more Int; Sylkis Greens are twice as good as Reagan Greens. Their one downside is that they do not boost Accel (only Mimett Greens do).
Sylkis Greens give the following stat boosts to stabled Chocobos:
