Susano in Final Fantasy XIV.

Susano (スサノオ, Susanoo?), also known as Susano-o, is a recurring summon in the series.

Originally appearing as a summon exclusive to the Bravely series of games, Susano has since appeared in certain entries in the Final Fantasy series. He is commonly depicted as a powerful swordsman wielding a massive sword.

Susano's rank 7 Phantom Stone.

Susano is a water-elemental summon. He can only be obtained through the game's summon drawing shop.

Susano's special attack is Flicker of Life, which delays the next action of all enemies and hastens the next turn of all allies. Summoning Susano costs 1 point from the Consumption Gauge. The summon is an SS rank phantom stone and has a cost of 18 to equip to a character.

Abilities

Susano allows the wielder to use the following abilities depending on the summon's rank:

• Ame-no-Murakumo I
• Ame-no-Murakumo II
• Ame-no-Murakumo III

Passive abilities

• The following are bonus abilities granted to characters equipped with Susano.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]Susanoo-no-Mikoto is the Shinto god of the sea and storms. He is the brother of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. All three of them were born from Izanagi. Susanoo used Totsuka-no-Tsurugi as his weapon.
