A belt declaring one's status as a superstar.

Description

Superstar Belt is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII Remake that has the wearer essentially gain the Reprieve weapon passive ability on an accessory; the user avoids incapacitation once per battle.

Obtained[]

Superstar belt was obtained as bonus content with the Digital Deluxe Edition, and has since been made into free DLC.

Use[]

The wearer survives an otherwise incapacitating enemy attack on 1 HP, but it does not work against instant death attacks or when the wearer's HP is already at 1. Superstar Belt is thus similar to the Revival Earrings, but does not break upon use. If the character is hit by a barrage of attacks, however, the effect only activates against the first hit and they will still fall in battle.

The accessory is good to equip in tough battles where the player may end up defeated, such as boss battles. Revival earrings could be seen as superior in longer battles, because they revive the user with more health than just 1 when the user dies, and thus the effect is not nullified by dying to multihit attacks; however, the user would also lose all buffs they had, whereas with the superstar belt, the user never actually KO'd and thus does not lose any currently active effects on them. However, in gauntlets in the Corneo Colosseum and the Shinra Combat Simulator, the superstar belt is superior as it will work one per round, whereas revival earrings would only work once per gauntlet.
