These unique spellcasters call forth powerful creatures with abilities capable of affecting entire groups of enemies and allies. The might of these summons can easily overwhelm lesser forms of magic.
Summoner appears as a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. It is a Core class, unassociated with any specific title.
Overview[edit | edit source]
As with all Core characters, the Summoner is a subpar character, with poor stats, limited Soul Breaks, and limited versatility. It rivals the Black Mage as an offensive character due to Summons having lower power but multiple hits; it is a matter of circumstance which is preferable. However, it's Soul Breaks are poor, with random effects, none of which are particularly good. Given its poor stats, the Summoner is of questionable use even as a summoner, since the player does not have much need of Summoners in many dungeons, and even if they do, the Summoner is probably not worth giving up a party slot to include.
