Summer's Here! Fireworks on the Beach was a seasonal event in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Commemorating the American Independence Day as well as the Summer season, this event is a spiritual sequel to Beach Festival Fun!. It ran from June 26 to July 21, 2024. The story once again takes place in an alternate Costa del Sol of the present day, created by a portal in the lifestream.

Story[]

Once again, Cloud and his party have stepped through a portal into Costa del Sol just in time for the annual beach festival and competitive fireworks show. Pyrotechs worldwide are known to flex their artistic muscle here. Across from their beach camp, the party overhears a volatile argument between two aspiring performers under the same teacher, siblings Tamaya and Hana, each seeking to outshine the other; for the one who scores higher will graduate from their program first. Cait Sith intervenes and proposes that the party helps both. But to do so, they will split into two teams, each gathering materials needed to make the flashiest fireworks displays imaginable. Hana forms Team Cloud, while Tamaya forms Team Barret. Both are to battle the resident monsters for the makings of explosive powder. The losers will have to perform a task to be determined by the winners. Which team will prevail? Could foul play send a friendly rivalry into madness?

To be continued in A Fireworks Nocturne: A Midsummer Night's Dream...

Event rewards[]

Players collected Stardust Jelly, Red Powder, and Blue Powder for exchange at the shop, where the featured items were Cloud's Burning Oar and Matt's Firefish.

Featured draws[]

This event also featured two Stamp Card draws. The first draw was the event's principal draw, featuring new swim sets for Yuffie and Lucia. Volume 2 added the first reissue of all 2023 summer sets.
