The following is a list of stats in Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. Stats are exclusive to party members and their job, others are exclusive to enemies, while others are shared. The player can view an explanation on all stats from the main menu guide.
The six base values, Strength, Stamina, Agility, Intellect, Spirit, and Luck are the sum of the character's base stat(15) and their currently equipped job's stat.
Stats[]
HP[]
HP.
The HP stat shows how much health a character has left. Once it reaches zero, a character is Knocked Out.
This value can be increased by way of Job Mastery points, curative spells, job abilities such as Holy Fang, affinity bonuses such as the Monk's Mantra, and the Muscle Belt accessory.
MP[]
MP.
The MP stat shows the measure of magic casts and abilities a character can use. Each party member has an MP cap of 600 while enemies are not capped.
This value can be influenced by way of attacking enemies with normal attacks, special effects and affinities, and job abilities such as Meikyo-Shisui.
Break[]
Break.
The Break indicates the numeric value of the break gauge. This gauge determines the measure of soul shielding and guarding available to the character. Should the value reach zero, the character will be rendered "Broken", causing the player to be staggered and vulnerable until the break gauge is recovered, losing all buffs and losing 200 of the character's max MP. Any enemies or bosses that are broken will be staggered and vulnerable to a Soul Burst. Each job set equipped possesses its own break gauge, allowing the player to switch sets when one set's gauge is too low.
This value can be influenced by way of Job Mastery points, Stamina and Spirit, special effects and affinities, and certain job abilities.
Strength[]
The Strength stat influences all physical damage and physical break damage dealt. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Strength. The effect it has on overall damage varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Stamina[]
The Stamina stat reduces all physical damage and physical break damage taken when hit by a physical attack, and reduces the break gauge lost when guarding or soul shielding. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Stamina. The effect it has on overall defense varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Intellect[]
The Intellect stat influences all magic damage and magic break damage dealt, and increases the MP recovered when landing normal attacks. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Intellect. The effect it has on overall damage varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Spirit[]
The Spirit stat reduces all magic damage and magic break damage taken when hit by a magical attack, increases the status ailment accumulation against enemies and reduces status ailment accumulation being received, and increases the amount of MP recovered when soul shielding. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Spirit. The effect it has on overall defense varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Agility[]
The Agility stat influences the break damage dealt upon landing a critical hit. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Agility. The effect it has on overall defense varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Luck[]
The Luck stat influences the rarity of gear drops when defeating an enemy or opening a treasure chest. In addition, this stat affects the break damage dealt of any job action and combo ability with a stat bonus in Luck. The effect it has on overall defense varies by equipment effects and job/job affinities.
Physical Attack[]
The Physical Attack stat determines the overall damage output of physical attacks and combo abilities. This stat is typically determined by the weapons equipped by the player and certain status effects.
Physical Defense[]
The Physical Defense stat determines the overall physical damage reduced from taking attacks. This stat is typically determined by the armor equipped by the player and certain status effects.
Magic Attack[]
The Magic Attack stat determines the overall damage output of magical attacks and combo abilities. This stat is typically determined by the weapons equipped by the player and certain status effects.
Magic Defense[]
The Magic Defense stat determines the overall magical damage reduced from taking attacks. This stat is typically determined by the armor equipped by the player and certain status effects.
Other stats[]
Job Level[]
Upon earning enough EXP, the job will receive a level up. Within the main story, the level cap for all jobs is Lvl 30. Within the CHAOS difficulty and higher, the jobs can receive Limit Releases to increase their level caps up to 99.
Within the latest DLC, this level cap reaches up to Job Lvl. 300.
EXP[]
Awarded to the player's current jobs after defeating enemies and bosses. This stat can be influenced by the corresponding job affinity value and the "EXP Earned" special effect from the Smithy.
Job Points[]
Ability points are a set amount of points received from each Job Level Up used to obtain abilities from the job tree.
In addition, jobs receive Mastery Points after leveling them to Lvl. 30, allowing the player to customize the job's stats and special effects.
