The Stone Golem is an enemy from Final Fantasy II. It is a powerful brute that can decimate characters with low Defense. The best way to defeat it quickly is to use an advanced Scourge spell, at least level 7, to exploit its weakness to Poison. Stone Golem sometime uses the Stop VIII spell instead of its high-powered physical attacks.
