Final Fantasy XI
Template:FFXI Spell Stone is the lowest-level Elemental Magic spell. It deals Earth-elemental damage to a single target and can be purchased from a vendor for 70 gil or less depending on fame. Players who start as a Black Mage automatically begin with this scroll in their inventory. Geomancers, Red Mages, Scholars, and Dark Knights can also learn this spell.

Legacy Final Fantasy XIV
Stone appeared as an spell learned by Conjurers at rank 1. The ability inflicted earth-elemental damage to all enemies within an area of effect. After patch 1.20, the Conjurer class still retained the ability to use Stone and was their default spell. The ability now dealt earth-elemental damage to a single enemy and inflicted evasion down. In addition, Stone was also the Combo action for Stonera. Stone could be assigned to any Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic class.
Final Fantasy XIV
Stone is a Conjurer ability available at level 1. The ability deals earth-elemental damage with a potency of 140 to a single enemy. Once the player learns the Stone Mastery trait at level 18, Stone will automatically upgrade to Stone II.
From the initial relaunch through Heavensward, Stone dealt earth-elemental damage with a potency of 140 and had an additional effect to inflict Heavy on the target for ten seconds. Before the implementation of the Stone Mastery traits, Stone and its upgraded versions were separate actions. After the release of Stormblood, Stone had its Heavy effect remove.

Final Fantasy Dimensions II
Stone I-III are magic attacks available only for Wrieg and Jornee to use. Both characters learn Stone from their respective versions of the Titan signet. All Stone spells deal small earth-elemental magic damage to an enemy and cost 8 MP to use.
In the original free-to-play versions, Stone I-III could be used by any party member equipped with a Stone version of the Titan signet. Each version of the spell dealt more damage depending on the summon's rank and had increased MP costs for each version of the spell.
Additionally, two more unique versions of Stone appear usable by Wrieg. Rapid Stone I-III are variants of Stone taught from the Geomancer signet, which deals small earth-elemental magic damage to a single enemy and hastens the user's next turn. All versions of the spell costs 32 MP to use. Lastly, Stone Rush I-III are the strongest Stone-type spells that deal earth-elemental magic damage to a single enemy six times. The spells are taught from the Dark Titan signet and cost 64 MP to cast.
Final Fantasy Legend III
Stone is a White Magic spell that can inflict Petri on an enemy or cure an ally's petrification. It cost 20 MP to use, and it can be bought for 3400 GP in Elan (Future) and New Dharm (Future).
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Shantotto casts Stone when using Spirit Magic: Earth while her Brave is less than 3,000. It sends rocks flying upwards from the ground to deal damage to the opponent.

The upper limit for Shantotto casting Stone with Spirit Magic: Earth is now 2000 bravery.
