An exceptionally deadly weapon crafted from three scythe blades.
Description
The Steel Reaper is a weapon for Yuffie Kisaragi in "Episode INTERmission" in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It teaches the Banishment ability, a powerful attack that deals more damage the more ATB gauges Yuffie has used in battle before casting it and takes on the active element from Elemental Ninjutsu.
The steel reaper provides a higher Attack Power bonus than its Magic Attack bonus, however its magic attack is not significantly lower than Yuffie's other weapons. Many of its unlocked abilities further improve Yuffie's physical attacks.
Obtained[]
Steel Reaper is found in the storage depot of the Sector 7 Slums during the time Yuffie Kisaragi and Sonon Kusakabe are chasing after Zhijie in "Double Back" in chapter 1, "Wutai's Finest". It is found in a purple chest after fighting the horned cripshay and climbing a pole.

Etymology[]
Death is often given the name Grim Reaper and, from the 15th century onwards, came to be shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe and clothed in a black cloak with a hood. In Japanese culture, the equivalent of the Grim Reaper is often the Shinigami, literally meaning "Death God". The name derives from the shuriken's blades being scythes.
The concept of death as a sentient entity has existed in many societies since the beginning of history. In English,Alternately, the three scythes may refer to the mythical creature kamaitachi, weasel yokai who ride on the wind and cut at bystanders' legs out of nowhere. In some interpretations, they are believed to ride through in teams of three for their mischief; one to trip up their victim, another to cut at the victim, and the last one would use some medicine to heal the wound but keep the scars.
