The Stardust Rod (星くずのロッド or 星屑のロッド, Hoshikuzu no Roddo?), also known as Stardust Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally one of the most powerful rods.

Description
The Stardust Rod is found at the Unknown Palace. It can only be equipped by Minwu, and boosts his stats greatly. When used as an item, it casts Fire XVI. It provides 90 Attack, 99% Accuracy, 2% Evasion, and +99 to Spirit, Magic, and Intelligence.

Description
The Stardust Rod can be equipped by Rydia and Palom and casts Comet when used as an item. It can be found in a treasure chest in the Lunar Subterrane, after defeating Behemoth. It is the strongest rod in all but the Advance and Complete Collection versions, with an Attack power of 45 and an Accuracy of 10. It also grants the wielder +15 Intelligence.
In the 3D versions, it has an attack power of 45 and accuracy of 80. It can be equipped by Golbez if he is hacked into the party.
Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-[]

Description
The Stardust Rod is the strongest attacking rod appearing in the Game Boy Advance and 2014 ports, as a weapon for Strago. It is obtained in the Dragons' Den, and randomly casts Meteor when used. Unlike the spell which targets all enemies, it will only damage the target that was physically attacked with the rod.
The Stardust Rod has a attack power of 180, and gives a bonus of +7 Magic and +4 Stamina. If the player bets the Stardust Rod in the Dragon's Neck Coliseum, they will be pit against a Dark Force, and if they win, they will receive an Angel Brush. Likewise, the player can win a Stardust Rod by betting an Angel Brush and defeating a Gamma.
Final Fantasy IX[]
The Stardust Rod is a weapon for Dagger with an Attack power of 14. It can be stolen from Zorn (Alexandria Castle), and bought for 760 gil in Lindblum (second storyline visit), Dragon's Gate, Fossil Roo, Conde Petie, Black Mage Village, Alexandria, and Treno (after the party returns from the Outer Continent, but before going through the Shimmering Island portal). It teaches Ability Up, Float, and Reflect, and also halves Shadow-elemental damage. It is a fairly weak weapon, even for Dagger at this early point in the game, but is her only weapon to give a Spirit boost upon level up.
